The online write up on the Purina Pro Plan Large Breed Adult says 7+ years. Nowhere d we find this on the bag. Our dog is 2 years old and we have been feeding this food. Is there a better match for her?
- My big (!) healthy 96lb. 5 yr. old Goldendoodle has been eating Pro Plan Large Breed Adult Savor shredded chicken & rice formula for about 3 years. We changed to the shredded stuff as he seemed to get bored with their normal chicken & rice blend. One issue I've seen is Purina has so darn many variations in it's product line-up I have to be vigilant every time I purchase more food. Then they changed all their packaging! Anyway, I look for the UPC code of 38100-14034, regardless of what new hound they put on the label. Happy and beautiful dog!

I have a large Komondor puppy. I've fed her Purina Pro Plan and Purina One, both in the large breed puppy formula. She prefers the Purina One because it has shreds. Pro Plan Savor is more like Purina One. Will you offer Savor in Large Breed puppy?

Molly is 7 months old and 38 lbs. vet says she shouldn’t get over 45 lbs. I feed her LARGE BREED Purina pro plan puppy food. Vet said I should switch to regular. But all I see is SMALL BREED OR LARGE BREED. Which should I use? Large or small?
Does a large breed pup (Labrador in this case) necessarily need to be fed specifically large breed puppy food; or would a puppy food that is complete and balanced for large breed puppies and all life stages be okay? Cal and Pho is the same as the large breed specific food. Please see specific food I’m inquiring about in the photos. Is this a good choice for a Labrador or should I stick to Large breed specific only (I.e. Purina One for Large Breed puppies) once this bag of is finished.
I want to be sure that my 1 year old Parson Russell Terrier is getting the best food. He has skin sensitivity. My vet prescribed Royal Canin Skin Sensitivity. It costs a fortune. A friend who works for a vet told me that her dog( who also has skin sensitivity) was prescribed Purina Pro Plan.. It also doesn’t list grains on the Royal Canin. I want to make sure it isn’t grain free. My last dog died from cardiomyopathy and CHF at 7 years old. Advice Please??

My (very tall and muscular!!) Miniature Schnauzer needs to lose about 3 pounds. Prescription Royal Canin didn't carry enough sustanance for him, so he was constantly hungry. I got him on ProPlan weight control kibble, but I'm always concerned with his micronutrients. He got a bought of pancreatitis once, so crude fat must be low. How do you feel about these fresh dog foods? Better than kibble? Or not, so due to the moisture percentage?
I feed my dogs Pure Balance Trout + Lentils (has probitics) mixed with Purina One Beyond Small Bites Lamb and Rice(has the joint support in it as well so that’s nice!) . Can you take a look at the ingredients? They don’t have any grain allergies as they tolerate Cheerios as their training treats but I liked Pure Balances Ingredients and the Purina One has not as well but they eat the food readily with the better brand and plus has free joint supplement in it. Thank you for your opinions on them
We have a 3 year old beagle mix with bladder stones. We just moved to a small town and none of the vets carry the purina pro plan that he eats. They can order it, but it won't be in for a week. He is out of his food. He won't touch science diet or royal canine. What can I feed him?
