So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesn’t do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think it’s better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard that’s 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
My pup heels really good on the walks. Whenever she sees a dog, person, car, anything that moves, she goes crazy, she doesn't care that her collar is choking her when she pulls with all her strength, she even barks like madman. Yes she is trained, no snack distraction doesn't help. She forgets about me completely at that point. I know she's young and full of excitement but I'm quite a small person and it's really hard to hold her. Would front clip harness help to hold her? Can't afford trainer.
I brought 2 collars for my 2 Chihuahua 's but they will not let them be, they try to get out of them, and even get them caught in their mouths, they ate indoors trained. With pads. So should I make them where a collar...,? And if so what kind so they won't do this.
My 4 month old puppy has a really thin soft collar around her neck and she still shuts down when wearing it. Basically she won't even move and just stares. Is there a good method to help her forget the collar?(similar picture attached). When i remove the collar she goes back to playing. Is there something more i should besides leaving it on her or should I get a trainer?
My dog went to her first obedience class today. She is a 7 lb Malitpoo. The instructor has us use a choker collar for the first several sessions. She did really well and only had a couple of good pulls against my husband during the training session. I went to bathe her and noticed that the schlera on her right eye is red like a blood vessel has broken in it. She never goes outside without us and is always on a leash. I'm wondering if using that collar may have caused it,, what to do?

PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. So my puppy chews her fencing of her dog run. A high respected trainer recommended a remote stem collar, as it isn’t SA as she doesn’t care about me when she comes out just wants to sniff and play outside, so what I’m going to do is have someone leave in a car and stay and if she chews the run she gets a stem, the trainer said she trained a few dogs with same issue and fixed within a week -2. I got Esky Dog Shock collar a good brand? Is this mean? I think it’s crueler to let her break her teeth
My cavapoo pulls on her lead when walking. It’s like the walk is a race to get through. As a puppy she practically took the entire walk on her hind legs like a performing bear. Having gone to behaviour classes with little change, I bought the halti collar which goes over her nose. Although it helps with the pulling, she hates it and spends the walk trying to get it off by either rubbing her face in the grass or jumping up and attacking it with her front paws.
Jenny tends to pull when walking on a leash. Any good recommendations for a good harness? Thank you.
