Great cage

I bought this cage because I wanted something large enough for my two parakeets to get exercise in. I normally always let them free fly in my office but they were making a mess. It was relatively easy to assemble for one person if you think it out first. To get it started lay the first side panel down on the floor and attach the ends...then stand it up and the rest is easy. I put it together by myself (twice). I assembled in in one room and then could not fit it though the doorway of my office, so I had to take it apart and reassemble it. Lesson learned...do not eyeball measurements....lol. I am happy with my purchase and will probably have this cage for a long time. It has plenty of doors and access points and room for toys.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I originally bought this cage for my dove, but she passed away over a year ago. I cleaned it up real well and now use it for my green cheek conure. The cage is HUGE. Amazing for the price.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good quality, looks very nice, easy to put together, very roomy. Great product for a reasonable price.

This is a very attractive, roomy cage. The instructions said two peple were needed to put it together, but I managed by myself and I am a small not so strong person. I am very pleased. I bought it for my cockatiels and am seriously considering a second for my parakeets. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice sized cage so their birds can fly some. The only negative is that the perches that are provided are way too fat for parakeets and probably cockatiels (haven't tried them out yet).

Yes, I recommend this product.

The best aviary cage I ever had

budgiegal

I have raised budgies for years. I have had 4 large aviary cages (in the $250 to $400 price range) and numerous small cages. This was, by far, the best of all. I kicked myself for having sold it to buy a bigger one....which was horrible. I bought my cage about 12 years ago and my review is based on that cage. I don't know if any of the specs changed since then. Mine was made by Caitec, but this looks like the same design. I didn't have any help, so It was a bit of a job to put together. It was a huge, roomy cage that could comfortably house a dozen budgies and give them lots of flying room. It was well made. Sturdy enough to be kept outside on my deck. The casters made it easy to move it about. I loved that I could pop open the top and put large branches in it. I loved the nice big front doors and the little side doors made it easy to get things in and out of the cage. The bars on the roof made it easy to hang toys (you can't do that with solid roof aviary cages). The plastic seed guards helped keep the debris in and the bottom door securely closed. Mine had breeder-box openings....which I made use of. I liked that I could use the grate as a divider and split the cage up when I wanted to breed a few pairs.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love it!! I own 2!!

I ordered one and love it so much I ordered another one. Several bars arrived bent, even though the box was not damaged. The cage bars are thin so this cage is best for finches, canaries, parakeets, etc.... Because the bars are thin, it really looks like an aviary and not a cage. I have 12 finches in one cage and 10 in the other. They have plenty of room. I don't use the crate, I removed it and line the bottom of the tray with newspaper. I also place the feeder tray and water on the bottom so it helps hold the seed in the aviary. If you put the feeder tray on the side then the birds will make a bigger mess and more seed will fall onto your floor.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Please clarify the dimensions. 36 inches wide (left to right), 26 inches deep (front to back), 47 inches tall (top to bottom). How high is the stand and is it part of the 47 inches. In other words, how high is the inside of the cage without the stand?

    How heavy is this cage?

      Is it powder coated paint?

      1. Hello. Yes, our Flight Aviary Cage model is powder-coated. Hope this helps!

Is it possible to insert a divider between the top and bottom sections?

Is 3/8 bar spacing too small for a Green Cheek Conure?

      1. Thank you for your question. We generally recommend that Conures have a cage with a bar spacing of 1/2" to no more than 7/8". njc

      accessory replacement

      1. Look for trough-type dishes with thin metal hooks in the back -- they'll hang over a cross-bar.

is the roof wire or solid

      1. the roof is wire, I have this cage for my blue crowned conure and it is great, it gives her lots of room to climb around and room for lots of toys, just be mindful when you put it together as I put mine together incorrectly so my doors are opposite sides of the cage

      How long is the cage?

      1. 37" wide..... but it does have roof eves...so is a bit wider 42" with roof eves and 37 "deep with roof eves

What are the inside dimensions of the Prevue Hrndyrx Flight Aviary- sku 1320050
