Lousy quality
I've purchased this item in the past and was happy with the quality so I decided to buy another. Big mistake, you've either changed manufacturers or they're using inferior materials. For over $200, I don't expect to have the carpet falling apart after only 2 weeks. It looks worse than the cat tree I've had for over a year.

Lower quality material than prior year
The carpet and rope on the tree are of much lower quality than the same tree I purchased last year. The carpet is not as plush and is already shedding quite a bit out of the box. With that said, the price should have been lowered to match the decrease in quality. I do like the size of the tree and it is easy to assemble. It is a good size for our larger cat.
