Needs Improvement

I installed the barrier in the cargo area of our 4Runner. The vertical rods appear to be sturdy. However, the horizontal rods are like trombone slides. Our 1 year old dog pushed them in and started to climb over the back seat. While attempting to return to the cargo area, she pulled the barrier down on top of herself. Recommendations: 1. The horizontal bars need a locking mechanism. 2. A secondary strap to secure the barrier to a headrest would be useful.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Works great in our Jeep Cherokee. I feel better about the dogs less likely to fly through the whole car if there were an accident, and the people on the back seat don't have nosy dogs in their necks constantly. I think this is a great item. Sturdy material for a good price too.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What to get when your pet loves to ride!

I loved this pet partition! My dog Benji loves to ride and now with the portable pet partition he can ride along! It was easy to put together and install in my vehicle too! Now I don’t have to keep placing blankets on my seats or going through so much trouble keeping my interior clean! I only wish I had gotten one sooner!

Excellent! Avoid car accidents

Excellent product, life saving. It was very dangerous driving with my dog face next to me and blocking the view in my mirror to look back.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works fine!

So far so good. Pretty easy set up overall. Seems to work fine. I have only had it about a week so far. Nothing spectacular, but seems to be just what we needed! I really like that it is less of a cage and more a barrier. There is not as much stuff blocking my view in my rear-view mirror.

Yes, I recommend this product.

It didn’t work for me.. I have a Toyota Rav4 98 and the shape of the back seats didn’t help.. they are lime a 45 degrees, so my dog (Belgain Mallinois) keep hitting the bottom part of the partition and knocking it off.. but when she was calmed it work..

Yes, I recommend this product.

Will this barrier fit in a full size suburban and contain two 90 pound shepherds?

  1. Verify the space you want to put the barrier in at will accommodate 27"-45" in height and 34" to 60" in width. The barrier will do a great job holding your pups in place!

Will this fit in a 2014 Honda CR V?

  1. We always recommend that you check the dimensions inside the vehicle to verify the spot you want to use the barrier will work. The partition can expand to between 34" and 60" wide as well as 27" to 45" in height.

Will this fit in a Toyota Prius 2010?

  1. The partition can expand to between 34" and 60" wide as well as 27" to 45" in height. Check the location that you want to install the partition against these measurements to determine if it will fit your vehicle.

will the pet barrier fit in my 2014 Subaru Forester with sunroof?

  1. I installed this partition in the back of a 2003 Land Rover Discovery. It isn't to the full extension, but almost.

In the pet barrier. It says it comes with two vertical (tubes/bars?) Is one part considered to have two tubes? Do I need to order and extra one to

  1. It has 2 vertical bars like tension rods that adjust for length. The 2 longer horizontal bars cover from the top of my seats to the roof . They are also adjustable for spacing. I thought about getting the extra but I didn't and I'm glad because I didn't need it. If you're needing to fill more open space you may need it, such as in a van.
