Using Pond Care Microbial Algae Clean does the pump need to run 24 hrs?
- My pump runs 24/7/365 (except when it dies, lol). I have a 1500 gal Koi pond with 11 7 to 12 inch Koi. If you have a water feature (water fall, fountain, etc) it introduces oxygen into the water, which from my research, is required whenever you use a bacteria-related product, as it will deplete the oxygen in the pond.
