This freshwater plant is also called "Downoi" or "Little Star" in its country of origin, Thailand. With its crinkly leaves, and bright green color, this is a great addition to any aquarium. This plant creates dense mats when submerged.

• - In larger tanks, it does best as a foreground or mid-ground plant.
• - Can grow submerged, or emergent.
