I wish I could provide a review on the pet door, but it’s been nine days since I ordered (and paid for) it, and it still hasn’t shipped yet. The online help said it would be 48-72 hours more. Two weeks to even ship an order is ridiculous.

I’ve had this (XL) installed since March and am very happy with it. My 80lb pit had no problems shoving his big blockhead thru it. My dainty 38lb female mix took about a week. She kept pawing at the doors and eventually realized to use her face. Sometimes they really blast thru it but it has held up very nicely and there hasn’t been any noticeable draft. Still have the summer and winter months to experience. Would recommend and also buy again!

I already had this same door in my garage door, this time I purchased the wall version of it. Love this door, it's super quiet. Very high quality, arrived packed very securely, even included the tools required to install it!

I really don't know if I would recommend this door. There are good things about this dog door and some not so good things. First, the directions are terrible. I realize this doesn't speak for the quality of the door but I want to warn you of a few things. There is a template for the inside of the wall but not one for outside, the outside hole is bigger than the inside hole. The template for the inside was too small for the door to fit in and we had to cut it three times before we got it right. You will have to cut through four pieces of thick metal to make them fit the width of your wall. This was not an easy task even thought we were lucky enough to have the right tools. There were instructions on the template which were different from the instructions in the owners manual and the instruction manual had a third set of instructions. Even the sizes of the holes and model were different. When purchasing, they don't tell you that you will need to cut and place 2 x 4's or 2X 6's (depending on your existing studs) on either side of the door inside the wall. Some models you will have to frame all the way around the door inside your wall. The door itself is very heavy duty and could be energy efficient if they hadn't left open holes around the pegs where the doors pivot. My dogs are used to the flap style doors. These door swing open/closed and when my dogs go out and stop right outside the door to look around, there tails get caught in the doors when they close behind them. The door doesn't close tight so it doesn't hurt them but it does scare them a little. One of my dogs still won't go through the doors and it's been four days. I have to hold the door open to let him in and out of the house. I've even tried putting his favorite treats on the other side. They have a great idea with this door but they really need to work out the bugs before they sell any more of these. I hope this is of help to anyone interested in buying this door.
