The Blue Spot Plebeius Butterfly is unique in their coloration and appearance compared to other Butterflyfish. These can be kept in pairs as long as they are introduced simultaneously. Like most butterflies, we don't recommend placing them in reef aquariums because they are very likely to consume a variety of coral polyps. These will benefit from multiple feedings a day of frozen meaty foods. Adding algae to their diet will give them things to graze on, mimicking their wild eating behavior. This butterfly will grow to be about 6" in size and will need ample swimming space. They are a vibrant yellow coloration with a bright blue marking. The Blue Spot Plebeius has a black line that goes through its eyes and false eye spot. The dorsal fins are jagged and can get caught in nets. They are found in the Western Pacific inhabiting lagoons and outer reefs to 10 meters deep.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

Hello, I'd like to ask for a specification on my turtle's breed and age so I can provide him with the best care. It looks like a map turtle, considering the plastron markings, but I am not sure about its exact breed. I'd also like to ask about its age since I can't pinpoint it. the carapace width is between 3 and 4 cm (1 and 1.5in). Thank you in advance.
White, almost iridescent, small round bump on cat's right front shoulder blade.

Hello, I would also like to ask about the breed and age of this turtle, I have him since September 2019 so he is older than 6 months. Its shell width is almost 5cm (almost 2in). It looks like a caspian pond turtle but I want to make sure so I can provide good care. Thank you in advance.
