Cats were scared.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I want to say the picture shown a black fuzzy toy but instead I got the blue slug. Now it shows it to be reviewed as the blue slug. It's not the biggest deal but a bit misleading. I thought I was getting a soft fuzzy toy but this one has a head that's rock hard. The rest of the body is rubbery and it comes on a thin string that I feel like could be broken easily. I would not leave my cats alone with this toy, as I feel like there's parts they could get hurt on or eat. I do however thought the toy was cute and it does wiggle around like it says. I also made a video of my cats with this toy but for some reason the app won't let me upload it and I tried multiple times. Both of my cats approached it but we're but uninterested. One of my cats smelled it and then ran away. The other one was more interested in eating the string it was connected to. These are both cats that love to play. Especially my younger one. When they heard it making all the noise it makes they both seemed to hate it. I feel bad giving this such a low rating but I'm being honest here. I think it could be a good toy if it was improved. I think hard plastic and rubber for a cat toy isn't really the best to be using. The only time for plastic is maybe one of those plastic balls that move around. Other that that I wouldn't really reccomend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats were mildly curious but overly enthusiastic about this toy. They usually like the pole toys but am to enjoy the plush and feather ones to this rubberized one. It was a bit heavier to hold but is well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats have no interest in this toy besides the noise it makes from dragging on the floor. It’s a big heavy rubber toy that barely wiggles or moves like it claims to.

Poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight of the slug is way too heavy for a cat toy. The string holding it to the stick was way too short, and the stick detached from the slug within minutes of use. Not a well thought out design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly, my cats did not care for this toy. I gave it three stars because I can see other cats enjoying this toy. I do feel like the line to hold the toy to the stick will break at some point. The toy is pretty heavy and there is only like a fishing line type string to hold it together

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat enjoyed this! It’ll make a small clicking noise as you move it which really entices our cat. I love that the whole body moves too similar to a big bug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats love any kind of toy but this one is especially good for making sure they stay active and play actively: it’s easy to use and has realistic movements that my cats really like!

Decent cat toy but nothing special

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This articulated slug teaser cat toy is fine, but it didn’t really stand out for my cats. They showed mild interest at first, but they weren’t nearly as excited about it as they are with other teaser toys we have. The movement is okay, but it didn’t seem engaging enough to keep their attention for long. The quality itself seems decent and it feels sturdy enough, but the string is pretty short, which makes it a little awkward to use and limits how much movement you can create during playtime. Overall, it works, but it’s just nothing special and didn’t become a go-to toy in our house. I’d say it’s okay if you want to try something different, but there are more engaging teaser toys out there.
