The Platinum Semi Senegalus Bichir is a handsome carnivorous fish that can reach an impressive length of 1 foot and 6 inches. Considered semi-aggressive,P. senegalus will consume any tank mate that'll fit in its mouth, but is quite passive with other larger fishes. Avoid overly aggressive tank mates, however, as this fish is easily dominated. The Platinum Semi Senegalus Bichir would do well with larger cichlids, catfishes, arowanas or stingrays. Make sure to equip your tank with a well-fitting lid, as this bichir will show off his land-breathing abilities by jumping straight out of his aquatic residency!
