I bought this to encourage my elderly cats to drink more water, based on the great reviews. They won't go near it if the pump is running. There is NO gentle sound of tinkling water to attract them, just a steady hum. If the water for this large bowl drops down just half an inch the water stops being pumped up and running down the side altogether. I'm very disappointed, and when I tried to mail it back, discovered shipping it back would cost more than half of what I paid for it. Due to the pandemic and staying at home, there is no way I'm driving a few hours to return this thing, so I will be tossing it and finding a better one. Save your money, go elsewhere if you want to attract cats.

I purchased this a few months ago for 2 smaller cats and a medium sized dog, and they loveeeee it. It's pretty easy to clean, which is especially good considering the messy dog, and it holds a lot of water. The filters are also pretty cheap and they work great.

Pump quit on 3rd day while never fully operating as described. Do NOT recommend.

This was great for the first week or two until, even after obsessively cleaning, the water hardly came out of the top to circulate water in the bowl. It definitely reminds me of a toilet bowl that is now just sitting empty on my floor next to a normal water dish. Very disappointed. Maybe if you plan on getting replacement cartridges every week it would be useful?

I was looking for a ceramic water fountain just like this...I have 3 cats...1 likes to drink out of the top section, another likes to drink out of the bottom and the other likes both...it's easy to clean and nice and quiet.

We've had this fountain about 2 weeks. Bought it for our three cats. They love it! I have never seen them drink this much water. One of them can drink from the top while the other drinks from the main pool area. It's a little heavy so be careful picking it up when full. It's very quiet. It's a fabulous fountain!

This fountain is very pretty and large! I love it. A significant improvement compared to my old plastic one I had previously. The puppy + 2 cats drink from this one.!

Unfortunately the pump broke within 1 week of using the fountain (water level never got low), until then the animals loved the fountain part but because it didn't last I have to give it a 1 star.
