I bought this for my 2 golden retrievers and my cat. They all seemed to like my previous fountain which was too small for all 3. I bought this with high hopes after reading some reviews, looking at other options, and prices. However after I got this, it was shortly after that it just stopped working. My husband tried cleaning the filter, seeing if it was clogged with pet hair, and it actully started working again. Then a few days later, boom. It stopped working again. AND it has rust stains. I called and complained and was happy they're sending me a replacement. I'm definitely not convinced that the new one will work, but I hope. If it doesn't I guess I'll be calling again but this time asking for a refund.

It lasted a whole 2 days!! The pump went out. It would be a nice watering bowl if they used better pumps. Anyway I would not buy this bowl, it’s a waste of time

I bought this early for the puppy I was getting. I plugged it in on May 29th and have cleaned it as stated. Today, it is no longer pumping the water. What an expensive water bowl!

I bought this fountain for 3 cats 3 months ago, and it stopped working a few days ago. The motor in the pump seems to have burned out simply from regular usage. Aesthetically the fountain is pleasing, and it wasn’t too noisy, and I thought it was easy to clean. But it was $60 and it only lasted 3 months! I’m extremely disappointed.

I purchased filters from the website. I think the filters are listed under Big Max in the cat section, but not the dog section. The web master should add the filters to the dog section. You might need to do a site search for "big max filters".
