The Pinktail Trigger is a stunning fish that will stand out in your aquarium! For continued health provide a varied diet of meaty foods, such as chopped seafood, multiple times a day. Since they have teeth, the Pinktail needs to be fed foods with a shell to keep them from overgrowing. Cautionary note, all triggers have sharp teeth and may bite when they feel threatened, use caution when working in the aquarium. A good time to work in aquariums that have triggerfish in them is after feeding. They will grow to be over a foot in size and will need ample swimming space. Full grown adults of this trigger will need around 180 gallons; however, you can get away with smaller aquariums when they are juveniles. They have a dark green body and a pink tail, which is how they got their common name. The Pinktail Triggers are found in the Indo-Pacific inhabiting seaward reefs up to 60 meters deep.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
Be sure not to keep them with smaller and/or timid fish that could be harassed or even eaten.

Hi. My back moor goldfish is currently about six years old and I have grown quite attached to him. I have had him along with some other fish for half my life. But sadly he has developed a large slit on the lower half of his tail. He is not a fan tail. He has a common goldfish tail. It looks quite painful and my accounting has a similar problem. Is there anything I can do. I will be devastated if my beautiful babies die. SOS!! PLS HELP

I have bought 2 parrot cichlids about 20 days ago. One of the parrot fish is constantly hiding behind the filter. Eating well but when it comes out to swim the other parrot fish keeps pinching it and doesn't allow to it to move around in the tank. I don't understand the problem. Please suggest what to do. Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
