PetSafe Vibration Dog Trainer Collar with Remote. At the push of a button, your handheld remote sends a signal that causes your dog's receiver collar to vibrate. The vibration safely and effectively gets your pet's attention. The remote is easy to use with an advanced digital display that tells you exactly which level of vibration you're using. CAUTION: Read the Operating Guide. DO NOT attach a leash to the Remote Training Collar. You may put a separate nonmetallic collar on your dog's neck or use a harness for attaching a leash while using this collar. NEVER leave the collar on your dog for more than 12 consecutive hours. ATTENTION: For comfort, safety and effectiveness of this product, please ensure that you check the fit of your pet's collar frequently. The Guide for this product describes proper collar fitting. If any skin irritation is observed, discontinue the use of the collar for a few days. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian.

Can this collar vibrate without the remote?
- No. Aldo don’t wast your $. It worked for about two days in that my dog was surprised at the vibration and stopped digging or whatever behavior I wanted to correct. After that she didn’t care and seemed not to even be aware of it.

Can two collars be used with one remote?

My dog is 7.5 lbs, will this hurt her if I don’t use the higher levels of vibration? I need something to teach her not to run on the road, but your product is only for 8lbs…she is so close.
- Thank you for this question! This remote trainer offers 16 levels of vibration. This correction is similar to the vibration of a cell phone and regardless of the strength of the vibration, will not cause your pet harm. This remote trainer is recommended for dogs 8 pounds and larger as it may be cumbersome or awkward for dogs below 8 pounds.

Does this collar have prongs? The photo does not show the back side of the collar/receiver.
- Thank you for your question! Yes, the Vibration Dog Training Collar has probes, but the tips are wider and more rounded since direct skin contact is not as important with the vibration correction as it is with the static type remote trainers.

Since there is no shock why would you not use it on a 5 lb dog?

My dog is only 5 lbs, you say they should be 8lbs at least... where do I find something like this for a smaller weight?

I have a 6 month old coonhound. Not so much barking but I need to enforce obedience training. Since she is still developing in size and her hearing, I do not want to hurt her ears. Do you sell a "VIBRATE ONLY" collar? This is what I would prefer

I am hoping to rescue a deaf dog (small, less than 25 pounds). I would like to know what type of vibrating training collar would be appropriate. This would be used for getting the dog's attention so it would be able to see my hand signals.
