I have a 6 week old Staffordshire bull terrier puppy. The breeder said she was feeding him 2-3 times a day but didn’t say how much. We are trying to feed him 4 times a day (50g of his puppy meal 3X a day plus scrambled egg for a 4th meal. But he doesn’t eat all of the puppy meal , but all of the scrambled egg. Any advice?

I have been wondering this for a while now. But I recently (Dec 5 2018) adopted a lovely 1 year old male cat who I was told weighted 10lbs when i got him. Now they did tell me his food (hill science diet adult 1-6) but not how much he was eating. So I followed the guidelines on the bag which said 1/2 cup for a 10lbs cat. He always goes crazy at meal time so I'm worried am I underfeeding him? Also he looks like he's lost weight but I also don't have a scale to weight him and brushed recently
Hello, I have a two-year-old Staffordshire mix that weighs 44 lb (20 kg). She is moderately active and currently doing intensive behavioural training. We have her on a daily 1,070 calorie diet (as recommended by another vet) and feel as though she's slightly underweight. Hi for the past 7 days I’ve been transitioning tony to a kidney diet with the help of 1/8 mirtazapine appetite stimulant every 48 hours. Today on day 7, I was told to try 100% kidney food (none of his senior diet mixed in) and he’s acting picky with it, not cleaning his bowl like he has the past 6 days with his old senior diet and kidney food mixed. Even with the appetite stimulant should I expect it to be a longer transition period? thx!
Poli was the only dog we have had until five months ago when we decided to adopt Lido a Mix breed puppy girl. At first it was diffcult but now they enjoy the company. What we have noticed is that when its time to eat, Poli is showing some kind of scare from Lido and instead of eating from the bowl, she grab a good bunch of food and hide herself to eat the food. Lido seems to have some type of control over the food... what should you recommend to have Poli to avoid that behavior?

The back of my pet food says the weight in grams per cup of food. I notice when I weigh the food for 1/3 cup it only fills the measuring cup about 3/4 full. Is this normal? also do you know if pet food companies measure the calories per cup based on weighed grams of food or just by standard 8 oz. measuring cups? Thanks!
Is it ok to give my 35lb dachshund-pitbull mix the petite greenies? Says intended for 5-15lb dogs. I got them as a gift when he was a puppy but obviously couldn’t give it to him then and he has not outgrown them!
