Poor collar
3rd collar I bought.won't last 3 months. I bought a different one that works better and was cheaper.

Mobile Safety
This traveling Safe Zone keeps my baby girl safe wherever we go. I bought an extra collar so that my grand puppy could also be safe while we were on vacation. The whole system is worth every penny! ❤️

Question
Is this collar compatible with any wired in ground transmitter? I had wired system farmer chewed up the line. Got the wireless system and the transmitter died. I love the collars. Love them. Zero issues, but i wanna go back to a wired system because it covers more area. Is there a trasmitter for a wired system compatible with this collar? Thanks in advance.

Need help
We have had this system for over a year.
Our dog Buddy 93 % Pyrenees respected the collar pretty well, them not so much. It was recommended we purchase the Stubborn Dog collar. Things have gone pretty well until recently. We have had a number of close calls when he escapes. My fence installer said there is a collar that goes up to a 10 setting instead of just 5. Is there such a thing. HELP !

Problems with collar
I have this system and bought an extra collar since I have two dogs. I bought them at the same time. One collar has always been noticeably different than the other. One can last about a month before it needs recharged. The other lasted a week or less. Now, it won’t charge at all!! I have tried all the suggested actions to test it (I have 3 different cords, used different outlets…and the other collar charges fine with all 3 of the different cords). I cannot afford to purchase a new collar, as this system was very spendy to begin with. But I live on a busy road and am fearful. Very disappointed!!

Great to have
Have had this for my German shepherd for 2 years now. The only problem is if the power goes out, the collar begins to beep and shocks him continuously., even if he’s on our enclosed back porch near the transmitter.
Sometimes he escapes our back porch and covered dog lot area while we are not home/work. However, We can’t put this collar on him when we are not home because we live near the coast/water with pop up storms/wind causing temporary power outages. He now fears this collar.
Overall it’s good if we are home. Completely waterproof as he enjoys swimming. But do not use when not at home.

Not good for large dog
We’ve used this collar for a number of years, worked fine on a small Lab. We have a Great Dane now and she just runs right past the border, even on the highest setting. Once she’s completely out of range, it’s not even an annoyance. I’m thinking about going for the buried wire electronic fence. The settings on those go up to a 7. These will only go up to a 5. Ineffective for a large powerful dog.

Hello, our yard slopes down very steeply. The transmitter would be at the of the hill. Would it still work on the bottom?
- Thank you for this question! As the transmitter for the PetSafe Stay & Play Wireless Fence emits signal in a dome like shape, it must be placed on level ground. We would not recommend this for a yard with large slopes or hills.

My dog is deaf. Does this collar provide the vibrating warning instead of tone? We have the wireless containment system.
- Thanks for your question! While all of our wireless collars do include a tone, none offer vibration as well. However, training with the flags should help give your dog a visual indication of where the boundary is.

Will this work on my 140 large dog?
- That's an excellent question! Our Stubborn Dog Wireless Receiver is recommended for dog 8 pounds and up. With that being said, the level of static correction recognized by the dog normally depends more on demeanor than size. The Stubborn Dog Wireless Receiver is best for pets that are more stubborn, or harder to train.

Is the lowest shock level on this collar higher than the highest level 6 on the regular collar?
- Thank you for your question! The stubborn dog collar's lowest correction level is similar to the lower settings on the other receiver collars. The difference is that the highest setting is stronger than others available and this collar has a vibration feature.

I have a dog that runs through our current wireless fence. It barely gets a reaction out of him. will this collar get his attention?
- Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your pet! This collar may be useful if you are certain that the system is working properly, but he does not seem to be phased by the correction level. We would also recommend spending some time re-training your dog.
