We're so sorry that you and your dog had this experience, but we can certainly explain why this would happen, and how to prevent it.

It is crucial to always remove wireless collars when your pets are indoors. This is due to the nature of how wireless systems operate. While collars are within the boundary area, they continually receive signal from the transmitter, then activate when they lose signal. The many metal and electronic items within a home could cause the collar to momentarily lose signal; as the collar would have no way of knowing the pet was not leaving the boundary, the collar would activate accordingly. For this reason, we do always recommend collars be removed when your pet comes inside, and placed back on when they go into the yard. We're so sorry for any misunderstanding.

We would love to speak with you directly so that we can go through troubleshooting with your system and confirm it's operating as it should. Please get in touch with us! Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M. Doesn’t cover 3/4 acre, closer to 1/4. The base unit only lasted 3 or 4 years.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We're so sorry for any misunderstanding, Steve! Please know that as stated, this transmitter does cover around 3/4 acre. It is critical to understand the the boundary will always be circular, however, so this area is covered in a circular boundary area. The maximum radius of this transmitter is around 105 feet in every direction from the transmitter.

It is normal for transmitters to need to be replaced over time. Though this is often several years, this timeframe can vary based on many factors. If you are experiencing issues with your system, we would strongly recommend contacting our Customer Care team so we can troubleshoot with you and determine the root cause, and what might help. Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M. Trouble with working

Deb875

I bought this 1 month ago and I cannot get my dog to stay in the yard. I hear the beep, but they go right through it. I have a lab and a golden retriever. Not sure if I should pull in my range closer after reading reviews, they seem to go about 20 to 30 yards past the flags. I call them and they come back. I want this to work. I need some help.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great system

Dz17

We have had this system for a while. It works great! The battery lasts a good while. They beep when low so it will scare your dog with the beep because it like the warning they get when close to the edge. But I just change the battery often. And people who say the collars shut off and have to remember to turn it on, well, I would hope the collars are coming off the dog daily, so why would turning them on be an issue? I remove collars and shut them off daily. It’s a good system.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. My bernedoodle had started jumping the fence. I had to adjust the shock strength a few times. Since doing so I haven't had any problems with her jumping the fence. I have even left the collar on her while it was turned off and that seems to deter to her as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We're so sorry for any misunderstanding, Shannan! We can absolutely explain why this would happen.

Wireless collars continually receive signal from the transmitter, and activate when they lose signal at the edge of the boundary area. Metal and electronic items can cause brief radio signal interference. When this happens, the collar can momentarily lose signal. As the collar has no way of knowing your dog is not leaving the boundary, it will activate accordingly. Due to the large number of metal and electronic items within the home, we do recommend that collars never be worn indoors as they could activate at any moment. This information is included in the manual. We're so sorry for any confusion.

If you have any difficulty with the collar outdoors within your boundary, or you have any other questions, please contact us! Our number is 1-800-732-2677, and our hours are Monday through Friday 8 A.M.- 7 P.M. EST.

I checked your product in a pet store yesterday and thought that the receivers for the collars were very large and clumsy. Do you make smaller receivers for small dogs. We did not purchase the system as we thought the receivers would look ridiculous on our dogs. Please come back to me. Thanks.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry that the Stay & Play Wireless Fence didn't meet your expectations. Regrettably, we do not offer a smaller receiver collar for Wireless Fences. The Stay & Play Wireless Fence Collar is the smallest that we offer for Wireless Fences. The receiver collars can fit dogs 5 pounds and up with necks at least 6 inches around.

Why doesn't your app support all models?

 1. Thank you for asking about this! Our only fencing collars compatible with an app would be our GPS collars. Wireless collars such as this collar and wired/in-ground fence collars work very differently and cannot connect to an app. We do apologize for any confusion.
