ScoopFree crystal litter can also be used with any traditional litter box. The crystals will keep the litter box smelling fresher, longer - saving you money on litter! Tips for Maximizing the Life of Your Crystal Litter 1. Place the litter box away from areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms, showers, and basements. Since the crystal litter controls odor by absorbing moisture, having extra moisture in the air will shorten the life of the tray. Try placing it in a room with moving air to pull away moisture, like a room with a fan. 2. If your cat consistently urinates in the same spot, try stirring the crystals occasionally to help distribute saturated crystals.
Pregnant women, babies, small children and immune-deficient individuals should avoid contact with cat litter waste.

I adopted 2 kittens at 3 months who are now 10 months old. Brother & sister. Their main area is a room with their beds, food, water, and 2 litter boxes--one is Scoopfree with automatic cleaning, and the other a regular litter box, from which I scoop feces every day. Someone has decided to take a piece or 2 of poo out and bat them around the room, when I'm not there. What can I do to prevent that?
Is it safe to use "crystal" litter after paw surgery?
My 19 yr old cat with diagnosed kidney disease has started eating his clumping clay litter. Is pine clumping litter safe or would nonclumping pine be safer?
My cat poops in the bath tub. I tried 2 litter boxes. I tried keeping water in the bath tub (which made mold). Even with water in the bath tub, she stopped using 2 litter boxes and started dropping her poop right out side the box. People have suggested changing the litter (World's Best). What would be the best litter to use. She is 7 and may have chronic pancreatitis. Thank you.
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?
I have two cats. A boy and a girl. When I change the litter box, the urine in the box is very pungent. What could this be from? I just want to make sure my babies will be ok.
I've read in several reliable sources that sawdust is considered to be a :::::human::::: carcinogen. I'm using OkoCat Supersoft Clumping Wood Litter for my two rescue kitties. Is it also a carcinogen and risk for my two felines? DW Rockville MD
How old do kittens need to be before they start using silica litter?
I just adopted 2 kittens & both are 6 weeks old. When they use their litter box, they tend to use their head to make a deep hole for their poop. They use their paws too but also use their head. I am using a pellet litter and am wondering if that may be too heavy or difficult for them to move. I was using regular litter at first but noticed one of the kittens was trying to eat it.
Is this okay to use for my guinea pig? I'm used to the carefresh with the heart and the animals on the front in the picture, but the mostly blue green one I'm nervous about. I don't want Cosmo getting any reactions. Are they the same brand but different packaging?
Does the Nutri-Vet Pet-Ease Cat Paw Gel work to maintain urinary pH for struvite stone dissolution and prevention? My cat has a past history of struvite stones (8 years ago) and doesn't eat the urinary SO diet (wet or dry) She is a picky eater and will only eat the blue wilderness salmon high protein wet food when I gave her options. But, I read online that some pet owners have used regular high protein wet food in addition to this nutri-vet or other dl-methionine supplements.
Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.
