Is it safe to use "crystal" litter after paw surgery?
Took my 1 yr old male cat Bailey to vet for not seeing him pee that much. She inserted him and got some urine (said he had a little crust down there, not sure what she meant but he does sit on litter). Sample showed no crystals or blood but his ph level was 8, which she said could have been from eating 2 hours prior. I know ph should be at least a 6, how can i help get it to that? I did buy some bladder support powder from Mercola pets and i put a small ice cube in his food. Thank you.
Hello my cat is an inside and out cat, I live in Florida. I have two litter boxes for him it is a clumping brand so it's an easy clean up, he has no problem using them. the question is the box I have put outside is clumping with out my cat using it, and when it does start to clump he doesn't use the one out side.... but still uses the box with the same litter inside. Which litter should I use out side?

Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. I found out that mittens doesn’t like scented litter and was refusing to use the litter box. So I bought him arm and hammer unscented litter. I have 2 kittens around 6 weeks that will not use their litter boxes. They, instead, wat the litter and potty other places. When onw of them sleeps in my bed, he always pees right where he is sitting when he wakes up. I have switched litters and shown them the boxes. I am unsure of what to do or why they are doing this.
