can I use regular cat litter with this product?
- Not really. Besides the fact that the system is designed to replace the tray and litter altogether (and that's how the trays come - with litter), this litter is designed to work with this system by drying out waste so it can be held in the reservoir without getting too stinky.

I just bought the scoop free litter box at Walmart, I didn't know that you could buy them with a cover. I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me know where I could buy one.
My 2 senior cats are filling up the tray in less than a week. That's really pricey considering it's supposed to last 10-15 days ideally with 2 cats. Is anyone else having this issue? Curious if there are any workarounds. Thanks
- I have 2 prolific pee-ers... and the tray only lasted about a week for me too. I invested further in this system by purchasing the plastic tray, but I found that I was tending the litterbox nearly as frequently as a standard type. Sadly, I really don't think this works for more than one cat. I've disassembled and cleaned it up, in hopes of selling it.

I bought this as my second one and the first one connected to the wifi and let me keep track on my phone in the app. Does this just not have that functionality?
I see on the reviews and q&a that the tray should be changed every 30-30 days, 1 person said they change after 40 uses. We are at 23 uses with 1 cat & my hubby says he is starting to smell urine. What is the best way to fix this w/out changing the tray

The covered part that the poop get scooped into is nowhere near big enough for a 2 cat household. Am I missing something?
- No, it just means you have to change it more often. The single and multi cat one are the same size. Difference between the two is the dimensions the multi is longer than the single. I have a single cat and had to get the multi use so he had more space to move around. Container gets full very quickly so I change it every other day. Hope this helps.

How often do you change out the little tray itself? How long do they last ? Do I ever have to add crystals to it or just use the tray till it’s “done” or just replace each time?
- I have 2 cats and only wish I had bought this item sooner- what a time saver! I change the tray every 2 weeks (about 40 uses), if you have only one cat you can obviously go longer. I did end up buying a spare bag of crystals and add in between tray changes as needed.

Can you use any cat litter?
- i have used other litters with mine before. but you have to be really careful. it needs to be a crystal type and around same sizes as theirs. (also its rare but make sure its not some of those crystal kinds that do the pee clumps)

What’s the difference in this one and the purple or the brown one are the different sizes is that it? The opening looks bigger on this one.
- This one is the new verson (update) it also has a counter to keep track of how many times your cats go. but have learned this one doesn't help much when the other pets make the thing go off and scoop for no reason as well lol.

Hey there! I've got a large Ragdoll (we think) cat that is roughly 10 years old who stopped using his litterbox for anything other than urine starting about 6 weeks ago. Always at night, when we're asleep, usually every 2-4 days, he goes on a binge poop, dropping of "presents" (ranging from hard/dry to wet/soft) on our front porch mat, my office rug, the hardwood floors along a wall, by the litterbox, on the rug by his feeder. No changes to clean litter situation or diet in over a year.

my cat initially squats to urinate in his litter box, then he stands up straighter and the urine sprays backwards while his tail is wildly vibrating. Needless to say, the urine goes everywhere. The litter box is clean.

I just adopted mittens from my local shelter on June 8. When I brought him home he was very scared. Now he has settled in our home. Harry is 15 weeks old. I adopted him on July 13; so 4 days ago. He was also neutered on the 13th. He eats and drinks well, and I've seen him "investigate" the Litter Robot.; ie get in, sniff it, but I' dont know if he's used it. This morning, he peed on my bed. Hi. I have a issue that I am not sure what to do about. We got Om in February. He has had major behavior issues. Food aggression, which we have gotten under control but now he has a major litter box issue. He will sometimes use the litter box but most of the time he only person in it but will not poop in it. We have tried everything. Rewarding him when he uses it and disciplining when he does not. We're not sure what to do. I don't think it is a litter issue or a box issue (his own separate box)
