With this training mat you can quickly and safely teach your cat or dog off limits areas in your home. Place the mat on your kitchen counter, on the sofa, or in front of the Christmas tree to keep curious pets away. The mat uses a battery-operated controller featuring an LCD display. The LCD display shows the battery level, correction level and a counter so you can see how many times your pet steps on the mat. It's easy to adjust the correction level of the training mat depending on your pet's needs. The 7 correction modes allow you to set the correction to tone only, 3 levels of static only or 3 levels of static plus tone. The mat has a safety timeout feature, so if your pet keeps their paws on the mat for more than 8 seconds, the mat will stop correcting your pet before repeating the cycle. The ScatMat training mat is available in 5 different sizes so you can choose the best size for the area in your home you want to protect.

After exhaustive cleaning, our cat continues to mark indoors. Have you found indoor electric fences helpful?
So my puppy chews her fencing of her dog run. A high respected trainer recommended a remote stem collar, as it isnāt SA as she doesnāt care about me when she comes out just wants to sniff and play outside, so what Iām going to do is have someone leave in a car and stay and if she chews the run she gets a stem, the trainer said she trained a few dogs with same issue and fixed within a week -2. I got Esky Dog Shock collar a good brand? Is this mean? I think itās crueler to let her break her teeth
So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesnāt do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think itās better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard thatās 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
Hi there. Rescued chocolate lab used as a breeding dog. She was never potty trained. I guess kept outside in a large cage. People shouldbe jailed... Have tried rewarding ect. The normal methods. Very good dog now has big yard. Choosing to bathroom in house on carpet of course. willing to try anything to work through this. Any recommendations or tricks? Tried treats, praising. Not sure what else besides trainer (expensive) but not out of question.
Not anything Health wise but I was referred to this app for tips from pet experts. Any idea on how to train my puppy to use the training pads ? He uses it one time and then continues to use it on the floor and else where. When he uses it on the puppy pad I praise him and give him a treat but he still uses it elsewhere. When he does it else where I tell him No and pick him up and show him to the puppy pad but he still uses it elsewhere. Any ideas ? Someone told me to try puppy training spray?
How do i get my dog to use a grass pad. We live in an apartment and its not easy to go outside but she pottys all over the floor. Ive tried training and a spray but they dont help
Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
Hi, I just got my puppy and want to teach him to do his business on training pads in a specific area. What is the best method to teach him this?
My ten week old Chihuahua is hard to potty train. It's way too cold outside so we are Pee Pee pad training.. How can I make it easier ? She likes to pee on the edge of the pee Pee pad and doesn't poop on it all the time, we even got bullseye and x marks the spot Pee Pee pads
My miniature schnauzer puppy is almost 4 months old. When we have to leave him home alone, we put him in the bathroom with a gate. We always put a puppy pad down, but recently he has started shredding the puppy pad up! Is this normal behavior or is he acting out? I donāt know how to keep him from doing it but if weāre gone all day I donāt want to leave him without one in there.
My cat won't stop jumping on our kitchen counters looking for food and eating out of the sink. We cant keep any food out. Ive spoken to our vet and nothing she can do. It's my fault. When she was a kitten, in my apartment I would feed her off my counter, chicken ect. But now I'm in a house with my husband and newborn and she won't stop searching. We've tried everything, tapes, scat mat, machines that puff air ect. I'm thinking about invisible fence inside my home. What should I do?
We have adopted our daughter's dog. She is a small breed mix. She has had at least one traumatic experience in which she was taken and dropped off on a rural road. There were storms during the three days it took to find her. She is very scared during stormy weather. Our problem with her is sometimes when left alone for several hours or a day, she will scratch at the door as if trying to dig her way out. She has destroyed the carpet near the door and the brand new linoleum we put in place.
