So my puppy chews her fencing of her dog run. A high respected trainer recommended a remote stem collar, as it isn’t SA as she doesn’t care about me when she comes out just wants to sniff and play outside, so what I’m going to do is have someone leave in a car and stay and if she chews the run she gets a stem, the trainer said she trained a few dogs with same issue and fixed within a week -2. I got Esky Dog Shock collar a good brand? Is this mean? I think it’s crueler to let her break her teeth
So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesn’t do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think it’s better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard that’s 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
Hi there. Rescued chocolate lab used as a breeding dog. She was never potty trained. I guess kept outside in a large cage. People shouldbe jailed... Have tried rewarding ect. The normal methods. Very good dog now has big yard. Choosing to bathroom in house on carpet of course. willing to try anything to work through this. Any recommendations or tricks? Tried treats, praising. Not sure what else besides trainer (expensive) but not out of question.
How do i get my dog to use a grass pad. We live in an apartment and its not easy to go outside but she pottys all over the floor. Ive tried training and a spray but they dont help
My dog has become a lot naughtier. Such as he bites nowadays so i talked with my vet. He suggested to scare him with a newspaper fold. Do you think its a right way.. 6 1/2 months I have my first dog, Kyro , a rescue that was abused and abandoned, half Labrador and Pit bull, 2 1/2 years old. How do I break the habit of chasing Motor Vehicles? A trainer recommended stopping, sitting and a treat which I find a nuisance. Considering E-collar but not sure how! Soon as he sees the vehicle approaching he has the need the chase. Headlights or noise Motor Vehicles create during rain or snow makes the situation worse. In parking lots, he attempts to bite the bumper.
Is there a good brand of wee-wee pads? Money is not an issue, but my Buddy is being trained to potty in and out of the house, but these pads are not good at all. Is there a pad out there recommended above another that will hold a good amount of pee? HELP

My miniature schnauzer puppy is almost 4 months old. When we have to leave him home alone, we put him in the bathroom with a gate.
