Waterproof, the Rechargeable In-Ground Fence Receiver Collar has 4 levels of static correction to match the sensitivity of your pet plus tone-only mode for training. Compatible with these PetSafe In-Ground Fence systems: PIG00-14673, PIG00-13661, PIG00-10777, PIG00-10773,PIG00-14582 and PIG00-11007. Not compatible with PetSafe wireless, PetSafe UltraSmart, PetSafe YardMax or Innotek systems. Includes: receiver collar, receiver charger, short and long contact points, test light tool, contact point wrench, and operating guide.

Work great and can last a lifetime
I started with Innotech in the 90's, then PetSafe purchased them. I have been happy with both companies. The collars can last a lifetime. I did just had one fail that originally belonged to a previous pet who passed. Our 4-month-old Ridgeback is a terror, and she tugged our Airedales collar and broke the receiver.

Poorly made on off buttons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The collars work fine physically. But the on off button tends to be poorly made. I have 7 dogs and 4 of the 7 buttons are sinking in sideways. I dont have fingernails so im not pushing to hard on them.

Need to get a 3rd collar after 3 years
This review is for the collar, not the fence. The fence is great, but the collar is crap!
Petsafe, please update this collar to be more durable. The button pops out in less than a year and then you can't turn it on, off or change the setting. It is also no longer waterproof once the button pops out. I need a third one for my 3 year old dog. The last one I had has been broken for sometime, as the button popped out, but I kept using it anyway until it got wet and is broke.

Really likes the collar untill
I bought the fence and collar july 2023 it was working great until my dog fell in the pool and now the collar won't work very disappointed when the description states waterproof.

Rubber protector broke!,

It works until it breaks
I have have 3 of these collars in a year. One stopped charging, the other the plastic piece that holds the unit on the collar broke. I will be replace the pet safe brand to never buy again. The reviews are awful.

Collar is poor quality.
The collar is very expensive and poor quality. The on/off button is missing so it cannot be turned on and off.

Is there a remote that goes with this collar? Like one that can make the collar beep for training?
- Great question, Maruku! Regrettably, this collar cannot serve as a training collar. We do not currently carry a collar that can be used as both an in-ground fence and a training collar.

It is important to mention that PetSafe® In-Ground Fence Collars are designed to be used with PetSafe® In-Ground Fence Transmitters and have not been tested with other brands. Therefore, we would not recommend using this collar with another brand's transmitter as we could not guarantee functionality.

I have an old but working PetSafe setup (10+ yrs). Seems to be working but I can't hear the warning sound before the correction so I can't teach my new dogh where the boundaries are. Would the new collars be compatible with my old transmitter?

Can I change out the red collar for something custom on my own without damaging the device?
- This is a great question! You may change the collar strap for one of the same width and thickness with no change to the use of the receiver unit. When you find the strap for your unit you may use the current strap as a template for the holes needed for the contact points.
