Make walks with your dog more enjoyable with the PetSafe Gentle Leader Headcollar. Its design places pressure on the back of the neck instead of the delicate throat. When your dog pulls, lunges or jumps the Gentle Leader gently moves his head and body back towards you. This places your dog's focus back on allowing you to lead the walk. The Gentle Leader can also be used to train your dog to heel. Most dog's quickly adjust to the Gentle Leader Headcollar and learn to stop the unwanted leash behavior.

Bought this for our 5 month old pup because she pulled on the leash a lot and ate MANY random things on our walks. After putting this on she was like a new dog. She was able to walk next to me, did not try and eat as many things, and was easier to control if she did get into something she was not supposed to. It was tricky to get on her as a teething puppy but as she got used to it, it became the best thing ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 1 year old German shepherd mix who loves to Take walks but doesn’t always behave in them. We depend greatly on the leash and collar combo to ensure walks are enjoyable for all of us. This gentle lead head collar helps us easily pull her when she tries to zig zag all over in front of us on the sidewalks. A slight pull on the leash when using this collar, when she’s about to go off course, keeps her on track and helps avoid us tripping over her, or her trying to pull on us too firmly. We love this leader collar!

This simple collar changed our walk from a noisy struggle of pulling and barking at anyone we crossed on our walk to a gentle correction resulting in a pleasant experience for all involved, including our 20 week-old Entlebucher puppy. She is a very happy, curious, rambunctious and strong dog, but the pulling on the leash was becoming more than I could handle. The vet recommended Gentle Leader Headcollar and it was light after dark. Walking with the dogs became a breeze.

Thank you for your question. Make sure your cat can stretch out comfortably, but don't get one that is too big. Cats feel more secure and comfortable in smaller places. You may want to measure your cat from his head to the base of his tale and add a few inches for comfort.
