The Gentle Leader Headcollar is a perfect no-pull solution to help improve leash manners and the bond between you and your dog. Designed by a veterinary behaviorist, the Gentle Leader Headcollar is loved and trusted by vets and pet parents and has helped improve 5 million walks around the world. This training tool is best for dogs who pull because it interrupts your dog's natural instinct to pull against pressure. The headcollar loops around your dog's nose, so when he pulls, it gently moves his head toward you so he can refocus his attention on you and away from other distractions. Although this training tool rests on your dog's snout, it doesn't work like a muzzle. Your best friend still has the freedom to eat a treat, drink water and catch a tennis ball at the dog park. This headcollar won't fit our furry friends with super short snouts (like pugs or bulldogs). If you have a dog with a short snout, check out our Easy Walk No-Pull Dog Harness.

Jenny tends to pull when walking on a leash. Any good recommendations for a good harness? Thank you.
I've been working with a trainer to make it easier to walk my dog since it became very difficult with him trying to bark aggressively to any dog he sees. He'll pull the leash a lot to try to get there and it's quite a scene. We've tried no pull harnesses, prong collars and there's no use. Trainer mentioned acquiring a halti or gentle lead to help me ease him. He was bitten by other dog when he was a puppy and that's why he's so anxious. It only happens when walking. Is this leash a goodsuggestion?
PULLING: Off-leash, she walks alongside me. Outside, she wears a comfortable harness(pictured). •I stop and use sit command. If I verbally praise her, she jumps right back up and back to pulling. She doesn’t do treats. If I don’t praise her, she’ll stay until I begin to walk again and she’s back to pulling (repeating steps during entire walk). •Gentle leader. She will not walk and acts too ashamed.
We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. What do you recommend as far as a harness or collar that will help control his pulling and lunging so that we can enjoy our walks with him more? He’s about 60 lbs, by the way.
My 4 month old puppy has a really thin soft collar around her neck and she still shuts down when wearing it. Basically she won't even move and just stares. Is there a good method to help her forget the collar?(similar picture attached). When i remove the collar she goes back to playing. Is there something more i should besides leaving it on her or should I get a trainer?
So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesn’t do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think it’s better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard that’s 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
My cavapoo pulls on her lead when walking. It’s like the walk is a race to get through. As a puppy she practically took the entire walk on her hind legs like a performing bear. Having gone to behaviour classes with little change, I bought the halti collar which goes over her nose. Although it helps with the pulling, she hates it and spends the walk trying to get it off by either rubbing her face in the grass or jumping up and attacking it with her front paws.
Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
I have a 9 month old rough collie and when we go for a walk he loves to jump up on people and children. Sometimes he will try to come out of his collar or either his harness. I was wondering if you would recommend for me to get a slip leash or head halter?
I just purchased the no pull harness for my puppy. How Long should I be using it for? Is there a point when I can transition to a regular harness?
Best flea and tick preventive for a large 90+ lb one year old male dog
My dog has a halti and he hates it. He rubs his face on everything and he tries to get it off. I've tried different types of dog collars and I've tried training him without it but he pulls pretty bad so I dont want to take it off of him. He's had it for over a year now. How can I make him stop rubbing his face and help him not mind it?
