Might be where I live, but the GPS is not accurate at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A smart collar that works off Bluetooth. Can set up a parameter for the dog. Runs off WiFi. App is pretty easy to set up. Can make a profile for each pet. The system I got you can add another collar to. Only downfall is coming up with the time out of a busy schedule to train the pet to the collar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I see great potential in this electric fence. It seems the GPS works well for the digital fence line I created through the app. It was incredibly easy to set up overall. I loved not needing to install anything more than the base unit in my house. The collar seems to last a long time on one charge. However, it is very bulky and doesn't fit my 50lb beagle too great. He does seem to respect the boundaries with this on, though, which is great. I am going to try it on my husky instead, whose head and neck size may be a better fit for it. Overall, I think this product has great potential once it's all adjusted and fitting properly. I am a little disappointed at how expensive it is to expand to more collars for it though, as I have several dogs. It also does not have any options for smaller dogs as far as I can tell.

Collar keeps going off in areas well within the parameter, and the app could be more user friendly. A bit pricey with those critiques in mind. If corrected would be well worth the price.

The product description says you require 3/4 acre and warns about other buildings and structures but does not tell the full story. We have an acre, with plenty of space on all sides of the house and a few trees on the boundaries of our property. We could walk 50 ft outside of the zone without triggering the collar and it would also start going off in the middle of the yard. When i called they blamed my property and helped me get a refund but be careful if you dont have a large open space.

This is exactly what we have needed for our curious, territorial golden doodles at the lake. They are familiar with a shock collar so the training took about 10 minutes. Our male dog continues to test the boundary but turns back at the beep. Both dogs are able to enjoy the full yard/water and we can relax knowing they are not sneaking off to explore the neighbors or bolting off to chase deer. I love that there is not a monthly fee, nor a trench to dig for a wire.

We’ve been using this for just over a month with our 7 month old pup. It was very easy to set up and very easy for her to learn. My only gripe is that when the weather is even slightly off -rainy, cloudy, storm on the way- the line is inconsistent. I’ve found at times the boundary was off by almost 15 feet which can be confusing for the dog. Ours learned quickly that if it’s beeping in an area she can normally be in that she can run back to us for us to take it off quick before the correction but I feel that many dogs might not think the same way and this could cause issues with dogs panicking. Listen to the directions when it tells you how far from a building the boundary needs to be because it really does play into the accuracy. My dog is just barely over the weight recommendation and the collar is quite cumbersome for her and she isn’t always a fan of having it put on. The very visible indicator lights are great though; the collar is well made and durable. Overall I am happy with this purchase but I do wish it was more consistent for the price, still prefer it to the old buried wire fence!! I’d say if you’re on the market for this kind of collar/fence to just take the leap and try it out.
