The battery life on these collars is awful! I have to charge it daily- I am so disappointed.

MUST HAVE GPS FENCE

This GPS fence is awesome. Very straight forward and easy to setup and use. Training only took a couple of days and the dogs fully understand and respect the boundaries. I was very hesitant to try it, but I’m very glad I did and have absolutely no regrets about getting this system.

Fence set up

Good product. Easy to set up and the app is very helpful. Fences are easy to mark with satellite view. Walk the lines with the collar in your hand 3-4 times, there are subtle changes that you will want to be aware of.

Collar seems to work most of the time. I have trouble keeping it sized correctly as it always loosens. The collar seems to keep GPS pretty good in terms of knowing where the boundary is, however it doesn't always show up correctly on my phone / map, which makes it hard to trust. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't have a call back option like other collars. It also always tells me on the app that the battery is at 100% even when it hasn't been charged for days. However, at the same time I'll get a notification from the app telling me it when the battery is low and has hours left. All in all it's not a bad collar, it's just not perfect. Not sure yet if it's worth paying extra for a different collar.

Great for fence less yard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great option for a fence less yard. I found the app easy to use and setup simple. So far has withstood the Florida heat and summer showers. Battery lasts longer than expected and allows our dog to roam the entire yard without worry.

Not worth the money

The best GPS signal I have seen is listed as fair. The app or collar lags. My dog is in a different position then what the app is showing almost constantly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give this product ample time to try before I reviewed it. It's definitely a learning curve for both dog and owner. Learning how to set the lines on your property etc. don't expect to have it set up quickly. Also, I've had connectivity issues where the collar wasnt beeping when my dog approached the "fence". I have a golden retriever who responded quickly to the training & who would never run away anyways. I don't think I would trust it if my dog was likely to try and run. I'll keep experimenting with it but overall it's just okay

Want to like it but…

The setup was easy and I was really excited. I created my fences without issue. The challenge started when I let my dog outside wearing the collar. The system is slow to update the gps location, my dog was outside for 10 minutes, away from my house, and yet the map on my phone showed her as though she was still inside. She would go into the front yard, back yard, it didn’t matter. The gps was either wrong or so slow to update. I’m not sure why this is, my phone was connected to the collar via Bluetooth AND there were two bars of LTE. That said, the LTE connection is not reliable and would fluctuate from no signal to 2 bars, never more. The guardian is not seeming like something I can trust to secure my dog. That said, cellular signal is pretty bad in general in my area, but I expect more from the GPS.
