I have tried different harnesses with my cat and so far this has been the best. If put on correctly, it will tighten if they try and get out of it. Now granted, many cats learn that they can back out of harnesses if there is resistance from the leash. Don’t resist and they can’t get out. I also like that this harness is light weight and doesn’t weigh my boy down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this harness for all my adventure cats and it’s great! It’s not restrictive like some other thicker harness and is more comfortable for new adventure cats. The simple design won’t add any unnecessary weight or heat. The bungee harness prevents them from pulling too hard and creates a secure boundary for them. I would recommend this harness for anyone interested in getting their cats outside! Just make sure to secure it properly and snugly so they don’t slip out and you might want to shorten or knot the harness in the length you want, the rubber stopper is a little too easy to undo and can loosen the harness as time goes on.

Is easily adjustable and the lightest harness we've found. My wild cat TJ never wore a collar as a kitten and is really sensitive to weight even though he's gigantic. This seems to be really comfy for him, hits under his elbows in the right spot and isn't clunky. We're trying to get him trained up on it so we can put a tracker on him as he likes to disappear.

Lies a little weird because of how they did the neck hole but fits on both cats and this appeared to be the most tolerable one we've tried so far. We've tried a TON. Ordering a second for the other cat. Haven't tried walking but I like the idea and the fact that the (1 Year old so maybe not a kitten anymore), kitten slipped away with it on!! A few hours later he's up from his nap and it's still in place. Honestly that's impressive, he didn't even chew it! Feels nicer done than the Good2go products. Bond & Co and the fabric ones mostly didn't fit and caused problems even the 2 that seemed to fit. The kitten tried to jump and smacked his face on his perch because he couldn't move properly. Even with adjustments when he was calm he couldn't move properly and it looked uncomfortable. Felt terrible watching him stumble around like he was drunk, falling over. Poor thing. Hope that helps someone lol

I like the style and how the harness goes on my cat, however, 18 inch is about 4 or 5 inches too small for my 20lb chonk. It would be nice if you made an 18 to 24 inch harness for the larger cats.

I have had my PetSafe harness for 3 years now, and it is AWESOME! I had spent $$$ searching for an escape proof harness for my outdoor-loving cat. I just stumbled upon this harness because it came with a bungee leash, which I was only interested in. The harness looked similar to a couple other worthless harness I had purchased prior, Boy was I wrong!!!!! When the harness is adjusted correctly to the cat's body, it is 100% escape proof. I never worry about my cat escaping like Houdini any more.

Casey is a just under 11 pound 3 year-old shelter adoptee inside cat. We bought the medium. It fits, but we haven’t found the perfect adjustment yet. He likes to roll around and see if he can escape, but gives up after a few squirms. He loves his 64 pound Bully sister and loudly asks to join her outside. He comes running (as much as a cat runs when called) when we jingle the harness. He accepts the hook-up and walks out the door when attached – we carried him the first few times. It took three outings before he walked around alert with tail normal. A gentle tug on the leash when he prepares to jump on the parameter walls is enough – our HOA has a leash requirement for cats, too. I usually follow where he wants to go and wait for him to head back to the door. He walks with me when I insist and encourage. He gets a glove rub-down after removing harness and a few treats.

My cat quickly became comfortable wearing it, and it's easy to put on.
