Has worked great for 3 years
Still going strong after three years. My dog wears this outside twice a day everyday to spend time out in the yard. My only complaint is that the receiver unit is really too large and heavy for my small dog that is 10 lbs. I wish there were a smaller version for smaller dogs.

Best Purchase I Ever Made
I had a male Boxer that loved to roam, when I wasn't home. Purchased this item and it completely solved the problem in no time. I have been using it on all of my dogs since then. What a relief to know my dogs will stay where they are supposed to and I don't have to worry about them getting lost or hurt!

Worthless
My medium sized dogs run thru the fenceline no problem, even with the stubborn dog collar. The over-correction protection is the reason. They hang out near the line and get the tone. When the tone stops they cross easily. That's with the collar set at 5 and the line set at 6,

Long lasting
I bought this 5 years ago. Best thing I ever did. As of today one of the collars actually broke. It's the part that touches the neck. One of the prongs broke. Still don't know-how it broke but it did. Plan to buy another. Just gotta save to buy one. This had to happen a week before Christmas. This may would have been 6 years since I bought the whole set up. My dogs are runners so getting this has been a life saver.

Collar was amazing for about 8 months then the battery life started declining… for a while it only needed recharging about once a month! Now it won’t even stay charged for an hour and this rechargeable version does not have a replaceable battery and the collar is not cheap

Collar not charging.
I bought mine a few months ago. Stubborn wireless rechargeable collar. It’s no longer receiving a charge. Not sure if it’s the collar or charger. This unit expensive and works well. The replacement collar is very expensive. I’m hoping I only need the charger cable as the charger works on other items I have.

Execellent Product
We have had our Pet Safe wireless system for 4 years.The collar is not responding like it used to but this is our 2nd replacement collar.Hands down it is the best system that we have ever used and we have tried several different applications.I would love for them to last longer but they are definitely the best overall at keeping your pet in there yard.Im debating on buying another replacement collar or a whole new system with 2 collars since oud daughter got a puppy a month ago.I figured we would wait from 4 to 6 months to put on our puppy but our 9 year old has been on it for 4 years with no problem.We tried a different brand with transmitter and 2 receivers but it was just a joke.You get what you pay for and thats excatly what happened.I highly recommend Pet Safe products if you care for your animals.Thank you Pet Safe

Do the collars come in different sizes for smaller dogs ?? Like a dachshund size ???

Where do I purchase a replacement battery? And how long do batteries last?
- Thank you for this question! The expected battery life of the PetSafe Stay & Play Wireless Fence Replaceable Battery Receiver Collar is about 2-3 months depending on usage. Replacement PetSafe Brand RFA-67 batteries should be available at the retailer your containment system was originally purchased, or at most pet supply stores.

This may seem silly it says pet containment so can you use on a cat? Neighbors complaining about our one cat and I don’t want him indoors all the time he lives outside?
