Tried to exchange it but the store was out of them.

Hit or Miss
Hit or miss. Dogs bark and nothing happens. I have them fitted properly, etc. It will spray occasionally but not enough to deter barking.

I did seek your customer service
I gave a one star rating because my bark collar, over number numerous attempts did not function properly.

Does not work
Bought this yesterday and started to attempt to use it today. Followed the directions twice just to make sure I didn’t miss something. When the dog barks, nothing happens. I can hear a slight clicking sound but no spray whatsoever. Also, the spray is icy cold coming out of the can which I did not expect. In the box is a note that says if you have a problem with this item, do not return it to the seller, but reach out to the manufacturer. The last thing I feel like doing is trying to work something out with the manufacturer. Total waste of money.

We are sorry to hear the Elite Little Dog Spray Bark Control has not met your expectations!<br /><br />If you have already filled the bark collar using the spray canister, and you hear a clicking sound from the device when it attempts to activate, this may mean that you have an air lock inside the device. Please first attempt using a warm, damp rag to wipe around the spray valve. Then tap the device several times against a firm surface. This will break up any bubbles getting in the way of the spray valve. it works until it broke (work for at four months)
I don't recommend buying this spray bark collar brand, and it works for only four months. I had a different brand of spray bark collar before I bought this PetSafe brand, and it works for two years.

Perfect for vocal mini dachshund
Perfect for my mini dachshund. Keeps her quiet Sometimes she will give a low rumble so ask to express concern about noises she hears but that is okay with me. This thing does wonders. Vibrating and noise emitting collars just made her bark more to “fight” them. It also is small enough not to weigh down or impede movement on little doggies. The only time it fails to silence her barking is when someone rings front doorbell. She lets it shoot off in her face because she needs to ward off invaders. Luckily that doesnt happen often.

Does the collar come pre-filled with spray? Nothing happens when our dog barks except for a slight clicking sound sometimes. When we try to fill the collar, it just stays a super cold mist out from the fill port....I don't think any is going inside.

I have 3 dogs and I want to make sure each dog will only get sprayed on their OWN bark. Does this detect the vibration in the throat rather than the sound?
- They only spray the dog who barks and it’s not triggered by the others.

how often does the battery need to be recharged

I have a Chi.. her neck is only 7 inches around. Will the collar adjust that small or would it just hang and not work properly?

Can the device be adjusted to spray only after 2-3 barks? We don't want to discourage the dogs from barking at all as they should alert us to suspicious activity, but the hope is that they will learn to STOP barking incessantly.
- I don’t believe that the bark collar has this feature. It is simply designed to activate upon detecting any barking activity.

My dog more howls and cries than barks, will this work for me?

This unit is designed to provide a spray correction when both the sound and vibration of an average dog’s bark is detected. Both must be detected by the collar before a spray correction is administered. This helps to avoid a false activation. While it may be possible the howling delivered by your pet will be similar enough to barking to activate the correction of a bark control collar, we cannot guarantee a bark control collar will work for your pet’s unique situation.

are the no bark spray collars effective on small dogs and do you have to use it all the time or just for a few weeks?
- You can use it on small dogs...I have a dachshund. In one weeks time she does not bark when outside, I do not keep the collar on her when in the house. I will keep the collar on her for a few more weeks, then test her to see if she barks when outside.
