All parts, excluding vinyl flaps, are covered under warranty, and labor is covered for the first year of ownership. Thereafter, there is a minimum service charge for the repair or replacement of the product. Vinyl flaps are warranted for one (1) year. Misuse, loss, improper handling, commercial use, and dirty or worn parts are not covered. Radio Systems will not pay for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of your product, or any incidental or consequential damages.

petsafe smart key dog door system: What happens if the battery runs out when I'm not home? Is there any warning prior to the battery not working?
- Thank you for your question! If the battery on the SmartKey or SmartDoor is low, you will see a red light flash once every few seconds on the key or door itself. The keys have an estimated battery life of 3-6 months, and the batteries on the door last about 3 months.
