Easy set up and cleaning. Durable
I've been using these fpr years! They wear well. They clean up well. Only have to buy a new one when I accidentally break the ceramic.

Easy to assemble. My cat actually uses it. The last fountain he didn’t use much but the waterfall effect really does the trick.

The pump should be completely disassembled and cleaned at least every 2 weeks to ensure it continues to work properly. My Cats Love It!
My 4 cats love this large fountain. It's pretty, and it sounds like a babbling brook which is quiet soothing for humans too! Best purchase ever!

My cats love it!
This was given to me as a gift and all my kitties love it. They won't drink from their bowls anymore. When I take it up to clean it they stand by waiting for me to put it down again. It does take some time to clean properly but it is worth every minute.

Works great. Love the concept but when water is low, it's too noisy. I like the 360 better.

Is there a solar version for outdoors?
- I've never heard of one. I'm not sure about the water quality and temperature if it was left out directly in the sun. Even inside, fountains can get scummy quickly. It would happen faster, I think, with more algae, if directly in the sun. You could check out the manufacturers web site to see if there are any solar options. Perhaps there are battery powered options. Be aware, that this fountain by it's design - quite tall in the middle -- can break easily. I had that happen twice. One arrived to me broken. A nice fountain, but that can be a design flaw.

I just got this in today and the pump will not work had to use the pump I had for an old one I would like a pump

Does it use a filter? If so, what kind.
- Yes, it uses a charcoal filter and a foam filter. They are expensive and the charcoal filter stains the white dish. No matter how often you clean, the charcoal makes it look dirty. The foam filter gets gross quickly - and I use water filtered through a top of the line British Berkefeld filter. I stopped using the filters.

- Excellent question! Our Drinkwell Pagoda Pet Fountain measures 8 ⅞" width x 10 ½" length x 5 ¾" height. From the bottom of the fountain to top of the drinking basin rim measure 3".
