does the water coming out make a trickling sound (to entice my cat)?
- Yes, and you can adjust the flow and speed (thus, the sound) so your cat is intrigued but you're not driven insane by the trickling water!

The water has bubbles in it. Not just a few temporary ones that you would get from air bubbles with running water, but soapy looking water. Yes, I change the water daily. Was I supposed to soak the filters first or is there something wrong with it?
- Thank you for this question! Bubbles may occur as saliva builds up in the water. To avoid this, we would recommend frequently replenishing the water and thoroughly cleaning the fountain.

Does this keep the water cold? If not, would placing an ice cube in the bowl damage it? My cat has a thing for ice cold water
- It does not have any cooling mechanism. I tried an ice cube in the main bowl area and it seemed to do fine.

Can a large strong cat knock this over? Mine is notorious for knocking hers over.

Where can I find a new pump for the drinking fountain, as mine went in before i had it a year, Petco says they do not carry any motors separtely

Can it be used with an outdoor wall outlet?
