We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. It is light enough for her to push it open if she decides to they both had the same training when we first got it but she refuses
Hello. Not sure if this is appropriate question to ask, but perhaps you can help. I keep my cat indoors before sundown all night till sunrise. He goes to the bathroom outside. Last few days I noticed muddy prints on his cat door in the morning. Pics included. Cat flap is in storm door. I slide locking panel in & of course close inside door. Do you have any idea who this is? We have squirrels, but I have not seen any possum or racoons. What to do? I keep 2 water bowls in yard 24/7.
My dog is going on 12 yrs now.She has developed really bad habits in the last months. She scratches the furniture, coaches or glass door when she wants to go outside.I take her outside and she starts barking cause I’m not there with her. Before we moved she stayed outside with no problem. She has to be on a long cable now cause of the regulations at our new place.I take her on 3 long walks during the day. I don’t know how to change her behavior.
Hello! I'm working on harness/leash training my cat so that he can go outside with supervision (we live in a very small apartment). We live in a fairly flea and tick free region, but is there any sort of preventative care that I can do to keep him from picking up those/similar bugs? Cat is about four years old, around 13 pounds. Thank you!
I got a wooden house for the dog, i will put warm blankets on the inside, and her pillow/bed on the inside. The door is plastic three stripes. Can I leave her to sleep and stay at the balcony at night or during the day ? temperature goes down to -5 celsius
What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
My elderly lab - a rescue dog - is panting, pacing, and barking to go out frequently. Is this an emergency?
What solutions are available for dog travel anxiety
Hi there. Rescued chocolate lab used as a breeding dog. She was never potty trained. I guess kept outside in a large cage. People shouldbe jailed... Have tried rewarding ect. The normal methods. Very good dog now has big yard. Choosing to bathroom in house on carpet of course. willing to try anything to work through this. Any recommendations or tricks? Tried treats, praising. Not sure what else besides trainer (expensive) but not out of question.
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
Can I bring my cat to petco to get fitted for a harness and leash
My 5 year old spanel scratches at the door all day to go outside and try to find lizards. When she goes outside, she scratch es at the trash cans, because she has seen thme there before. She would do this all day, if we let her. How do I stop this behavior?
