Where can I find an extension kit? I moved and my insert is now too short. I found extension kits online but none are compatible with this brand.

The distance between my sliding glass door rails in 74.5 inches. Will this door fit into that space? I have purchased two products so far (and had to return them) that are each too tall to fit between my rails; one by only 0.25 inch).

I purchased the 2 window dog door for sliding glass doors and LOVE IT! However, there is a gap between the two sections and in MN the bugs will come in. How do I make it a tighter connection?

How does the door lock work? I tried another brand of pet door insert, and the door could not be locked, and wouldn't even close completely, because the insert was not compatible with my door, which is is 1-5/8" thick. (Track is 1-3/4"). Will it fit?
- Thank you for your great question. This pet door is ¾" deep, so it will fit in your sliding door track. The pet door is screwed into place, and it comes with a rotary lock assembly so the sliding door can be locked.

is there a microchip access panel that allow restricting pet/animal that can enter through the pet door. There are racoons and feral cats in my area and I obvoously want to keep them out but let our cat in!
- No there isn't a microchip access panel. There is a hard plastic door that can be raised or removed each morning to allow your cat access through the floppy rubber door that has a magnetized strip so that it falls back in place after each use. At night, when your kitty is sleeping, you can lower the hard plastic door and keep critters out.

Is the dimension of the door to the inside dimension of the frame or outside My door is 78” but the inner part of the frame is 76 3/4”. Does it fit inside the frame?

Hello. Not sure if this is appropriate question to ask, but perhaps you can help. I keep my cat indoors before sundown all night till sunrise. He goes to the bathroom outside. Last few days I noticed muddy prints on his cat door in the morning. Pics included. Cat flap is in storm door. I slide locking panel in & of course close inside door. Do you have any idea who this is? We have squirrels, but I have not seen any possum or racoons. What to do? I keep 2 water bowls in yard 24/7.
A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa. I'll be moving soon, with my 13 y/o male cat. He has been indoor/outdoor for most of his adult life, with access to a cat door. I'm concerned because he will need to transition to being an indoor cat in our new home--litter box training, the works. (I hope to someday build a catio for him, but that will take time.)
