Disappointed: False Advertising!
I ordered this product for same-day delivery in 90 minutes. I paid full price (a lot) for a new product advertised online. The delivery arrived 2 hours late. When I opened the box, it was not sealed. It had been taped to look like it was unopened. The product was used and dirty from the previous owner. Dog hair, dog grime, sticky, scraped up and bent. The packing the screws were supposed to be in were already opened and put in a ziplock bag. Not all the parts were there. I could not believe it. You seriously sold me a used, dirty bent product at full price with missing parts at full price? At least you could have advertised that it was used and lowered the price. I was ripped off and feel sad such a great company would not have the integrity to be honest. I would love to get my money back or at least some of it. Are you will to do that?

Great product
All the parts were in the box. The delivery was quick. The quality of the product is very good. Im using it as a temporary door so i didnt permanently install it. It works and fits well. My cats love it.

Probably easier with all the pieces
Got it in in the end, but the kit was missing quite a few pieces. Had to Jerry rig it, and most likely voided the warranty doing so, but now that it's in I hope it lasts!

Loose in track
The entire pet door doesn't stay in place. It is loose in the track. After closing the sliding door, the entire pet door moves with the sliding door.

Not worth the hassle
I found the instructions very confusing. It doesn't fit right because of the latch in the sliding door so now I have to get door sweeps for both sides if I want to use the door in winter time. The pet flap is not entirely aligned with the edges of the opening, so even shut there is draft. Also not good in winter. I would not recommend this particular product.

Where can I find an extension kit? I moved and my insert is now too short. I found extension kits online but none are compatible with this brand.

The distance between my sliding glass door rails in 74.5 inches. Will this door fit into that space? I have purchased two products so far (and had to return them) that are each too tall to fit between my rails; one by only 0.25 inch).

How does the door lock work? I tried another brand of pet door insert, and the door could not be locked, and wouldn't even close completely, because the insert was not compatible with my door, which is is 1-5/8" thick. (Track is 1-3/4"). Will it fit?
- Thank you for your great question. This pet door is ¾" deep, so it will fit in your sliding door track. The pet door is screwed into place, and it comes with a rotary lock assembly so the sliding door can be locked.

is there a microchip access panel that allow restricting pet/animal that can enter through the pet door. There are racoons and feral cats in my area and I obvoously want to keep them out but let our cat in!
- No there isn't a microchip access panel. There is a hard plastic door that can be raised or removed each morning to allow your cat access through the floppy rubber door that has a magnetized strip so that it falls back in place after each use. At night, when your kitty is sleeping, you can lower the hard plastic door and keep critters out.

Is the dimension of the door to the inside dimension of the frame or outside My door is 78” but the inner part of the frame is 76 3/4”. Does it fit inside the frame?
