I feed them in separate bowls on each side of the fireplace. They are grazers eat some leave etc. I put morning portion in their bowl and then later if empty evenings. I’d like to them to eat all their dry food in two meals and finish in a timely manner. How to train them to do this without making them get too skinny? And how many cups should I feed them? The bag says 2 1/2-3 but they won’t do that. Younger dog is 8 months They eat Pure Balance Trout n Lentils mixed w/
I have 2 dogs and they share a food bowl I will fill it up and they eat it on and off thru out the day but it’s strange they both start on one side and eat it to the bottom then they will eat the other side why do they do this
My dog eats 1 meal per day and iam going to have a puppy that will eat 3 times per day how do i prevent the other dog from eating from the puppy food on the other 2 more meals
How can we set up our two dogs eating arrangement? Molly is a slow eater, meaning she kind of snacks on her food. She doesn’t eat her recommended portion. Belle on the other hand does and she’s been caught eating Molly’s adult gastrointestinal food. What do you recommend we do? We’ve separated them to eat but when belle is not around Molly still won’t eat. She prefers belle’s puppy food.
How can I help slow down my dog’s eating?
Heidi and Ginger love the low salt chicken broth over their Diamond Naturals dog food. It doesn't take much to soften their food. I understand Chihuahuas need to have food down more often than large dogs. Will twice a day for both dogs not to exceed the number of suggested calories for Ginger be sufficient? I've split Ginger's calories between the two meals. Ginger won't eat vegetables unless they are minced into her food. Heidi steals my carrots, broccoli and many more. Thank you,
I have an automatic pet feeder that has 2 containers. One opens at 7am and the other at 7pm. I just realized that they both opened at 7am and Luna ate pretty much all the food for the day (1/2 cup). Will she get hungry at night so do I feed her more food later or do I not give her anything because she alreadybate her whole day's portion?
My boston terrier is 1 year and 2 months old now. And I do think that I would like to switch him to eating two times a day. At the moment his feeds are split evenly into 3. Do I have to increase the amounts he eats in the morning and evening and decrease the amount of food he is given at lunch? Gradualy having him eat nothing at lunch. Or is there anything else that I should do?
I have one of my cats feeding bowl high up and the other below because when lio was little he would eat his bowl and her clean in a heartbeat ans sweetie wouldnt get to eat her food but now as he is older lio has calmed down and even leaves leftover on his plate which sweetie comes down to eat when she has food left herself? Is there a bonding benefit to feeding them both at at the same and eating from each others feeding bowls when theres leftover?
16 year old Shih Tzu barking all the time always hungry used to being fed every evening should I split up the meal to a.m. and p.m.?
I have 2 rescue dogs small breed, one won’t eat with the other around I’ve tried to separate them and still struggling
How do I shift my cats from 'free feeding' (I let them eat whenever they want because I work long hours) to being fed 2 times a day (because I need to feed each cat different feed)?
