Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?

My 4 month old puppy has a really thin soft collar around her neck and she still shuts down when wearing it. Basically she won't even move and just stares. Is there a good method to help her forget the collar?(similar picture attached). When i remove the collar she goes back to playing. My dog had surgery today for a torn acl. Upon picking the dog up post surgery, I noticed both his seresto collar and the cone applied were extremely tight. To the point where I could not fit a single finger under the cone. My dog was drooling extensively as well. I loosened both. Upon getting him home I noticed his neck had a swollen soft pouch that was not there prior to surgery. Could this be potential damage to his salivary gland due to the tightness of the cone/collar?
We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. What do you recommend as far as a harness or collar that will help control his pulling and lunging so that we can enjoy our walks with him more? He’s about 60 lbs, by the way.
