I brought 2 collars for my 2 Chihuahua 's but they will not let them be, they try to get out of them, and even get them caught in their mouths, they ate indoors trained. With pads. So should I make them where a collar...,? And if so what kind so they won't do this.
I have a German Shepherd, she is going to be 5 months. I had a collar on her and she doesn't like it and she was scratching at it and now it is raw on the under side of her neck. What can i do? I have been putting peroxide on it. Is that okay?
Collar training My 14 week papillon is tiny just over 2lbs. The smallest harness does not fit. I began collar and leash during potty pad time, then keeping on and off for periods yesterday. Of course she bites and plays with the leash, causing it to be more of a potty training distraction than tool. The collar, right sized no dangles made of nylon, seems to irritate her skin. She itches it constantly. Is this hurting her skin or part of getting used to the collar?
We adore our rescue dog and I love to take him on walks but although he’s great with people, he’s very unpredictable with other dogs and he’s extremely prey driven. So much that my 13 year old can’t cntril him if he sees a cat or bunny or something. I am picking up my cairn terrier puppy from a breeder tomorrow who said she not a vet just gave the puppy her 12 week old shot. She said she will give me paperwork on this but will this be acceptable when I need to board? Also, I have used a collar on my 2 previous puppies with no harm. I would like to continue this because especially before she is licensed, I can put a name tag on heaven forbid she got lost. Is there a problem using a collar? It never caused a neck or throat injury before
Whats the best flea collar money can buy for 10lb dogs
So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesn’t do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think it’s better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard that’s 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
