Can I bring my cat to petco to get fitted for a harness and leash
Which natural nutritional supplements do you reccomend for my Cavalier? I want to keep my girl healthy and with me for as long as possible. Cavaliers are known to have many health issues; particularly heart, eye, and joint.
I am picking up my cairn terrier puppy from a breeder tomorrow who said she not a vet just gave the puppy her 12 week old shot. She said she will give me paperwork on this but will this be acceptable when I need to board? Also, I have used a collar on my 2 previous puppies with no harm. I would like to continue this because especially before she is licensed, I can put a name tag on heaven forbid she got lost. Is there a problem using a collar? It never caused a neck or throat injury before
Based on our research, we know that Cavs are particularly prone to heart disease. We are thinking of adding raw foods to supplement Niko's diet. We were thinking of rotating thru olive oil, fish oil, carrots, raw eggs and sweet potato– is this okay? Also, Is there anything else we can do or give Niko that would keep him heart healthy?
My dog went to her first obedience class today. She is a 7 lb Malitpoo. The instructor has us use a choker collar for the first several sessions. She did really well and only had a couple of good pulls against my husband during the training session. I went to bathe her and noticed that the schlera on her right eye is red like a blood vessel has broken in it. She never goes outside without us and is always on a leash. My dogs were playing and the collar on one got stuck around the others jaw and twisted and started choking the other dog. Luckily I was there and cut it off. They seem fine now but the one that had it on his jaw, is bleeding on his gums. What can I do for him? All the other cuts he got are very small and have stopped bleeding. Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today.
