Our puppy is 9.5 weeks old , got him a week and a half ago . He is energetic . We put him on a harness and a leash . He’s just sits down and doesn’t want to move . We even tried to entice him with treats ,he barely goes for the treat , he just comes and sits on our lap not wanting to move , once we take off harness and leash , he is back to his playing self , trying for 3 days now , any tips . We let him be on Harness and leash without us controlling it , but he sits still or sleeps . Any tips ?
Is it ok to give my 35lb dachshund-pitbull mix the petite greenies? Says intended for 5-15lb dogs. I got them as a gift when he was a puppy but obviously couldn’t give it to him then and he has not outgrown them!
Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
My 10 pound Chi-Terrier mix has gone hoarse from barking too much. Is there something I can give him to soothe this? He will be 9 on Aug 24, and I do not want to take him to have surgery. I was gone away for 4 days, and had someone come to the house to feed/potty him. He apparently barked at her all weekend long.

Kobe is fine all day and the past couple of nights he is staying in this one spot, backside twitching, and staring at nothing. He has Ben licking the carpet and still nibbling but a little louder. He whimpers or does his little growl for us to pay attention. What could it be? Drinking a little more water but not tons eating ok. I think a softer version of his food I will try. Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
My 13 yr old Boston terrier has developed a quarter size sore on the side of her face. I noticed it Friday night. The hair is missing and it’s wearing. There is a small growth near this area that looks suspicious to me. I cleaned it with peroxide and bacitracin ointment was applied. Today the area has spread. It’s larger and going farther down the side of her face. I’m not sure what to think. One last thing, she became deaf suddenly this last month. She can’t hear a thing.
