Jerman shepherd female dog 7 to 8 year age have skin problem
I have a long haired elderly maincoon/tabby mix with mats all over his body because he is too overweight to reach them and honestly doesnt even try. Is there some product we can use to help him out? Shedding brushes are useless at this point and we've nearly resorted to a professional groomer.
Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?

Hello, I have had my beloved cat, Lolly, since kindergarten making her 17 years of age. Recently I retrieved her from my mother's house and noticed her unkempt hair. She now has a surfeit of tangled clumps of matted fur varying in size. How should I proceed, are there any special shampoos or products that would help? I heard they are not supposed to be cut off. Pet had skin die off, back rt foot (after severe abscess in back rt hip threatened amputate) Vet removed dead, new skin growth underneath. This left atleast 50% of exposed flesh, the other has new skin growth. Antibiocs & cleaning w/chlorhexidine 2xs a day.(metacam 1x day for 2 day.)With cleaning and limited mobility still seems impossible to keep clean, constantly finding dirt/debris, misc stuck to raw skin. Is there a safe way to cover wound while also letting it breathe for healing purposes?
My 19 year old cat has a large lumpy bloody mess on one toe on her back paw. A month ago it was one, 1/2” long hard growth. In one month it has now developed 4 distinct growths. All are raw and bloody, Non movable, and hard. What could this be? How do we treat foot ie., cleaning, wrapping, medication?
