What size Kennel do I need for a 33 Lbs dog?
- Kennels that are about 2 1/2 feet long are good for small dogs, Dogs should be able to stand up with ease, fit through the door effortlessly and comfortably turn around .

What size carrier do I need for a 74 pound lab? That is airline approved
- It depends more on the height and length of your dog then the weight. Look at the IATA website for airline regulations. Most airlines refer you to their website.

What size is recommended for a 40-45 lb dog (medium or large)?
- I purchased the XL size for my 50lb dog and it’s perfect. I would not want her to be in a smaller size kennel.

Are the large size Petmate ultra vari kennels stackable? Are they strong enough to support the weight of a crate on top holding a 55-60 pound dog?
- I’m not sure if it would or not. I was using the top of the crate to store some papers, mail, etc. and the top started to bow in a little bit. There was a good amount of stuff on there but certainly not 60 pounds worth. Hope that helps.

What size do I need for a large 80 pound Greyhound
- Thank you for your inquiry. The best way to select the perfect kennel size for your pet is to measure from the top of the head to the floor, then from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around and comfortably lie all the way down. Too small and your pet will be uncomfortable; too large and your pet might attempt to use the bathroom in his space. Hope that helps! Sincerely, Petmate Consumer Services

So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. I am currently in Korea (visiting) when I found a dog I adopted (my intention was to adopt a small dog). I am returning to America next week. Shami will have to be in cargo for about 15 hours. I am so worried. We went to the vet and got an all clear and got her a cage (big enough for her). What can I do to make her flight comfortable? I already know to add food, water, pee pads. What else? My dog has SEVERE separation anxiety. I have to kennel her when I leave the house, but despite crate training her as a pup, she never got used to the kennel. She has tried to break out and hurt herself, she salivates to the point where she gets soaking wet and dehydrated, and she hyperventilates. I've tried thunder shirts, calming aids, and tons of crate training. Nothing works! What do you suggest I do? Is there a prescription that might help her? We're both desperate!

Hi, i have a beautiful dog part american bulldog and australian shepard. 3 months and 2 weeks old 26 pounds. I wanted to know if it was safe for him to sleep outside my backyard. I have a dog house with enough room for him to sleep warm and dry beside my house. He is up to date on his shots incohdig heart worm. Weather in houston tx is around 55-70. I just want to make sure if he would be okay sleeping outside in his dog house permentaly cause he getting to big for doggy door .
