EXTREMELY disappointed that they changed design of this litter box. Lid no longer attaches at perforations and must be removed each time of cleaning. Had same box for years with lid that attaches and love it, but this one makes no sense. Should have noted change on the Petmate website to warn us.

It’s was much bigger then I was expecting which is great.. it fits perfect in my some what small restroom and also roomy for my big cat

Good litter box if you dont want litter all over the place , my cat would jump in and out with no problem, cat still has privacy and litter box is discrete , you dont have to see whats inside & you can scoop it easily casue it opens up without having to remove the lid easy , i really like this litter box better than any other

My 6 mo old kitten flings litter everywhere. This tall litter box solves that problem. I knew he could manage the height when I pet sat my daughter's tall cat using this same litter box, and at 3 lbs my kitten could use it easily. My 11 year old chunky cat will not use it, but that ok, since I have a low litterbox for her.

Just what I needed and my cats stated using as soon as I had it ready!

I have a chunky little lady who tends to get litter EVERYWHERE when she gets out of the box- even with mats and a regular covered box, she made a mess. This is fairly large and tall so she’s got plenty of room to maneuver. It did take her about a week to get used to it but now I’m super into it! It’s way less mess and it’s not as stinky when using clay litter.

I have two of the So Phresh Top-Entry Litter Boxes and can't say enough good things about them. In addition to the large size, the lid design is excellent. You lift one end of the the lid with one hand, it pivots, and the litter on the top drops back into the box. The lid stays there, rotated 90 degrees, while you clean the box. It keeps things cleaner and minimizes clean up. I rescued an additional cat and needed another box in a hurry. I order this model from Petmate thinking it was the same model I already had. My mistake! The slightly smaller size is convenient because of where I have to place it in the house, but the lid design is a disaster, I can't imagine what the designers were thinking. This lid lifts and opens to one side. The litter on top gets flung in that direction and scatters or falls to the floor. It's so silly when there are at least two other models on the market with pivoting lids that tip the litter back into the box in one motion. I needed the box in a hurry so didn't return it. I clean it each night by brushing the loose litter from the top of the lid through the holes into the box then, with two hands, I lift the lid up, not to the side, and angle it so any remaining pieces fall into the box. There's no simple storage method for this hinge-type lid, either, so I lean it up against the box while I clean it. I place it back on when done and clean up the loose litter on the floor around the box. I looks a little fancier than the other one, and it's smaller size is more convenient for tight spaces, but the pivoting lid was the killer feature in the other model and this one fails in that respect. It's functionality isn't even close! Do you want the loose litter from the top to slid back into the box in one easy motion or do you want to brush the lid off, then use two hands to lift it off, tilt it into the box, lean it against the box, and then use two hands to replace it when done.

I like 'em! They were out of stock for a while so it took a bit to get to us.
