Door latches fail constantly

The door latches have broken on at least 5 of these 48" kennels. I have replaced them and they are failing again after just under 6 months of use. Buyer beware.

I ordered this kennel online from Petco since it was not available in our local store. It arrived in a partially destroyed box with one corner of the kennel broken.

I ordered an indoor / travel crate for my dog. The wrong item was shipped. A large outdoor kennel / dog house was shipped to my house instead of the proper sized crate. Processing the paperwork online was easy, but I had to drive 20 miles in each direction to the closest PetCo for the return. The store manager and employees were very understanding with the return. I wasted an extra two hours of my life and 40 miles on my car for the wrong item to be shipped to my house.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The sky kennel is not what it used to be. I have one from the 1980s that’s still in excellent shape. I also have this crate— my dog was able to scratch a giant hole through the plastic

I have a toy fox terrier puppy and bought her a small crate when I travel with her in the car but trying to use it in the house, it’s just too small and she can’t stand up In It. I am very pleased with this new kennel from Petco because it big enough for her to be comfortable in. Highly recommend

Quick question, I have a 95 pound great dane mixed mutt. His kennel at home which is a crate is 30inch in hight and he stand in it just fine. Will the XL cage fit him?
- Thank you for your inquiry. The best way to select the perfect kennel size is while your pet is standing, measure your pet from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail. While your pet is sitting or standing, measure your pet from the top of their head to the floor. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around, and comfortably lie down! Too small and your pet will be uncomfortable; too large and your pet might attempt to use the bathroom in their space. We hope this helps! Sincerely, Petmate Consumer Services

Can a divider panel be purchased for the 48” petmate kennel? It looks like the divider panels only go up to 40”.

I have a 40 lbs female husky that is about 21 inches in height and I’ve been debating on getting the large or XL. What would be the best fit for her trip from Hawaii to WA.
- I have a 78 LB dog and got the Large (500). He fit well and seemed as comfortable as a dog can be on a plane to the mainland. It's a very solid but still easy to put together and take apart.

I have a 9 year old boxer lab Staffordshire terrior, she's a rescue who does fine now, but, its them darn cats shes overly curious about. Would this be tough enough?

These are training kennels and are not made of the same consistency as crates you may find in animal shelters etc. In actuality, and not to dismiss the matter, we have discovered that neither the breed or weight of an animal matters much if it does not want to be contained.
