Nice scoop but loose handle

I bought this scoop online. The slots are a little wide for me but over all I like the scoop. The only problem I have is after one days use the handle became loose. There are no obvious screws to tighten.

If you're tired of plastic litter scoops that break, this is what you need. Sturdy and efficient. The slots are about the same width as most plastic scoops, and the rubber hand is easy to hold. This is probably the last scoop I'll ever buy because it will likely last forever.

Would this work with Oko Cat litter?
- Perhaps, yes. The slats don't seem too big for the Oko Cat Litter. However, we would recommend something where the slats/holes are a bit smaller than this unit.

Is this scoop one piece of metal all the way through the handle or is the handle a separate piece?
- The tang from the basket goes about 2/3 the way up the handle. The outside of the handle is a rubber slip-on. I have never tried to remove it, and it has never come off. The metal tang goes far enough in to handle those heavy loads from your bobcat, but there is still a little give at the end. I've had mine for about 3 years now and there is no sign of failure in the rubber handle.

Good with Small Hands
- Hi Karen, I am also petite and short 5', with small hands. We use the clumping litter also. I have arthritic hands with bent fingers. I use the scoop all the time and find it to be comfortable and light weight. It does a great job. The handle has a rubberized grip. I personally enjoy using it and have had no problems.

Is the handle really comfortable?
- I find it comfortable and easier on my wrists to use than one I used prior. Handle large enough for good grip and the handle is covered like garden tools for comfort and gripping. I have chronic hand and wrist pain, and like this one best. Need to order another one for 2nd liter box area. Since this one arrived I have been taking this one from one area of house to the other rather that use any of the 3 scoops already there.

- Two size slots in scoop. 4cm by .5 cm and 1 1/2 cm by .5 cm.

Will this work with pine pellet litter?
- I think so. There are two size openings in the scoop. One is 4 cm by .5 cm, and the other are 1 1/2 cm by .5 cm. Hope that helps.
