What is the size of the opening on the top of carrier? Does it have wheels on it's bottom. Will it comfortably hold a 15 lb. cat who hates going into my present pet carrier, only small front door.
- Thank you for your inquiry. The top door opening is 13 5/8" L x 7" W. For the safety of your pet we do not manufacture for our kennels and wire crates. The external dimensions for this 24" kennel is 24.05" L x 16.75" W x 14.5" H and the interior dimensions are 21" L x 14.5" W x 13.5" H - please note that you must take into account the curvature of the kennel. The recommend weight range is up to 15lbs. The best way to select the perfect kennel size for your pup is to measure them from the top of the head to the floor, then from the tip of the nose to the base of his tail. The height of the kennel should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet so there's ample space to fully stand up, easily turn around and comfortably lie all the way down. What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?

I am currently in Korea (visiting) when I found a dog I adopted (my intention was to adopt a small dog). I am returning to America next week. Shami will have to be in cargo for about 15 hours. I will be transporting my 8 cats to another location 30 minutes away. I do not have enough cat carriers for my move, so I decided to make some cat carriers by drilling 14 holes, each 2 inches in diameter, through Sterilite storage bins. My question is, do the holes need to be smaller than 2 inches? I do not want any of my cats getting their heads stuck in a hole. Also, do you think this method of transport is ok for the cats? These guys are my life & I dont want any harm coming to them.
