1st dog house was missing top. Petco made it right. Didn't charge me for a second one and the 2nd one was delivered on time and both pieces.

They were shipped in boxes that were too small, causing the lid to be compressed lengthwise (pictures). This compression may relax with time, but with the distortion as is, pushing out the sides, the tops will not latch firmly to the bottoms. On the lids there is a large amount of "squeeze-out" of plastic from the molds. (picture) This could cut skin and it keeps the lid from mating to the base. It took about 15 minutes per unit to cut away. I point out the stuff because the buyer should be aware of it. At the same time, this product will do what I need it to do, probably better than anything else I've found.

Good size and water and wind proof. The cats love it

I have outdoor cats .Cats love them I have two small and one large. My cats love them. They have their blankets in them and feel real safe in them. I always check the weather. I move them closer to house or on por ch.This way they do not tip over!!! Use your brain.If there was a strong wind and yours sitting at the beach in a fold up chair.You just may get knocked over.Same concept. My cats trust me to keep safe places in bad weather. I clean mine weekly as bedding.

My Dog sleeps comfortably she loves it stays warms

I love the xsmall dog houses, but the top does not click onto the bottom and if picked up wrong or blows over the top comes of easily.

Got these doghouses as an outdoor reprieve from the elements for our 2 Huskies. They are very sturdy and made of solid hard plastic. They've managed to remain dry inside even in a couple of downpours and driving rain. The only time that wasn't the case is when I had one on an uneven patch of grass. So you definitely want to place it on a platform if there's no flat surface. Unfortunately our pups, house dogs that LOVE to go out and play, still haven't embraced the concept of having a private pad "outside." Other than that, it's easy to set up and clean. It has plenty of room for our 70 pounder and is absolutely palatial for the 45 pounder. I got the large size for both since they were so affordable - $44 bucks each! Love the color. This purchase was a no-brainer!
