Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. Can you advise me on what sized Crate to buy? I'm not sure how big he will be and I was looking online and thinking of buying a 36-inch Intermediate size crate. My second ?, I was going to buy Earthbath Oatmeal shampoo. Do you recommend that? Any bristle brush recommendations? Any health warnings on the breed? Thank you!!
Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
What's the best temperature for bathing my short haired dog inside?
Hi! So my dog HATES baths. I talk to him VERY gently and make it as likeable as I possibly can. I tried to feed him a couple of treats while he was in the bath, but he just kept in shaking and refused to eat it. The water is about Luke warm, maybe slightly warmer, and the water is about up to the top of his legs. He's fairly small, the size of a miniature poodle, and so I use one side of our sink. The owners before us where not nice about the baths, and that most likely the problem. Thanks!
CAN WE GIVE BATH TO PREGNANT DOG?
my dog is afraid of the paddling pool and ont go in, we have tried going in first and reassuring him, putting toys in there, treats, put little bits of water on him but he still wont go in, any ideas on what to do?
My 8 year old lab (pure if that is rellevant) who has ALWAYS been deathly afraid of the bathroom and tub went outside roled around in the grass played fetch 2-3 times came inside and ran and jumped into the tub. Wont get out, not even entices by his favorite treats. He has been panting a lot for an hour or so as well. Its only 72 degrees in the house (I live in florida). Thats everything I can think of that might be relevant. Very concerning behavior.
What are the dimensions of tanks in the $1 per Gallon Sale?
How cold is too cold for a dog to swim in a pool? I run a home boarding and some of our guests love swimming so much, they will swim no matter how cold it is. The water temp right now is 70 degrees. Air temp next week is going to be 60-70 degrees. The dogs typically swim for about 2 hrs but they get out and run around a lot. Should be safe right? How about for an older lab with arthritis? Would swimming in 70 degree water not be good for her?
Hi! Thanks for your time! My little dog Baxter is white, so he gets dirty pretty fast. I usually give him baths about 1nce a week (that was okayed my our vet) but because the weather is so cold now, he is sooo cold after his baths, eventually we warm him up though. Any tips for keeping him warm after his baths? And is it ok to give him baths in the winter?
Kiba hates bath time, he tenses up and tries to climb out of the bathtub, I can barely hold the poor thing in place. He refuses to stand in the tub, he tries to get out so I have to hold him very firmly. Are there any methods to help him calm down? A friend told me to fill the tub up with water a bit so he can stand in the water, but I feel like that would probably freak Kiba out more. When he's in the tub, he won't even take treats and I feel bad for him :(
My very large male cat has trouble getting intout his litter pan.. Do you know where I can get a large, very large pan?
