this is the perfect toy for cleaning their teeth - it makes a very funny squeak when dropped (so rolling down the stairs is very amusing) - it is a great size for lil cat paws to grab out of the air (it is a lil heavy so for kittens only gentle rolling) - and the feathers/ribbons make it more interesting than a plain ball. they discontinued this so i had to buy at least 4 at once to last us another year or so (it would last longer but ... the ends can be pulled out and eaten if your cat is... not super bright... like my sweet summer calico... they haven't clogged her yet and now i trim them so at least they're shorter if she does swallow them...)

However, he finally started playing with it & seems to love it!!. The only issue i have with it is that the feathers were gone after the 1st full week of playing with it. Other than that, its a great toy & my baby (cat) loved it!!

They have fun with it bating it around to each other or play keep away when one wants it to themselves. It is nice and sturdy even when my Bengal cat plays with it and toys usually do not last long with him. And not only is it fun for the cats it is great for their dental health as well. I enjoy watching them play with it as much as the cats enjoy playing with it.

He absolutely loved it even though it is a little larger than the typical cat toys we have purchased previously. The feathers seem to be of particular interest and he carried this around for days before our older cat found it. Once the old guy got it the real fun started, it started being used as a volleyball of sorts flying around and bouncing off furniture and the lazy dogs head. I know it is a cat toy but we thoroughly enjoyed watching the cats play. This is well made and had lasted being carried around, batted under furniture, bopped off of walls and generally clawed and bitten to the extreme. It still looks great despite being the new favorite toy!
